Hi y’all. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. This is going to be a bit different from my usual posts, and for those who don’t really care to read all this, thank you anyway.
I started sharing my love for mouths, tongues, and all the things we like back in 2016 on Instagram. I was in university, still young, and still new to everything. My vision was to share my appreciation for the beauty of women’s mouths, while also creating a page where girls could promote themselves and show off.
It took a couple of years before I started gaining any real traction, before any girl would actually send me content to post. That was definitely a milestone, but also a bittersweet one. They were, of course, the main stars, but there was very little appreciation for the effort it took to build a page that became known and recognizable in this little online niche.
As the years went by, I found myself less and less motivated to keep going. It required more effort than I was willing to give, especially when all I had to show for it was a modest number of followers and no real impact on my life.
Then, in 2024, something changed. I started using this app and realized it allowed pages to earn from posting. It felt too good to be true, especially for someone like me, who had spent years pouring time and effort into a page that had grown to 29k followers, had some real success, and was something I was slowly letting go of.
I had to try. For myself. To justify all those years of experience on Instagram, and to prove to myself that there could be a way to make my interests worth something. I changed format. No more relying on other creators to send material, but sharing what I personally look at and smile at, what I would want to see out there myself.
It took years. Fighting the algorithm, trying to stay relevant, dealing with constantly changing policies. What kept me going was the support some of you showed me in my DMs. If you’re one of those people and you’re reading this, I truly can’t thank you enough. Even something as simple as “nice page” can go a long way.
Anyway, I finally made it. I managed to activate monetization, and it still feels unreal. It’s not much, but it means something. I’m not naive enough to think this will last forever, because X doesn’t really feel like a place you can fully count on right now. But still, for the first time since 2016, I feel excited again about working on this side project of mine.
I’m excited to keep bringing you the best mouth-focused content I can, and to meet as many of you as possible in this strange little internet plaza.
