@Markyles @TheRedPiranha I don't know where Ngunnawal Land is I speak English. Barnaby? No. I think you must be talking about Kevin Rudd having sketched out plans for the NBN on the back of a beer coaster on his RAAF plane.

@Markyles you snivelling big-government bootlicker, this is peak bureaucratic brainrot. Malcolm Roberts & One Nation are slashing excise ONLY on beer & spirits in licensed pubs & clubs, not your cheap supermarket slop. Your $5 BILLION doomsday wet dream is absolute hysterical horseshit. Total beer excise is ~$2.5B, on-premise is a tiny slice, you dishonest hack. You’re nothing but a labour simping imbecile, seek some sort of irreverence. This isn’t ‘taxpayers pay anyway,’ you economic illiterate, it’s ripping the boot off the throat of the dying pub industry being murdered by Labor’s cost-of-living jihad. Pubs shuttering, jobs vaporised, regional communities destroyed while Canberra flushes tens of billions down the toilet on migrant welfare, green energy grifts, NDIS fraud and parasitic consultants. Drinkers and non-drinkers alike are getting ass-fucked by your sacred tax racket. One Nation’s actually fighting for battlers’ pockets and saving the local pub, Australia’s last real community hub. Your pathetic revenue-worshipping nanny-state propaganda is exactly why this country’s circling the drain into socialist hell. Go cry in your soy latte, you pathetic tax parasite. 🇦🇺🍺

@consensusadidem @TheRedPiranha Come on James… where I live is on my bio. Wasn’t it Barnaby who wrote his water report on a postit or a beer coaster or something tiny?

@Markyles @TheRedPiranha 1. I have no idea where you're from Mark. 2. I'd be prepared to give you a pay rise of 50 cents (in line with inflation). 3. A postit sheet is perfect, it matches perfectly the level of thought that went into your idea in the first place.

@consensusadidem @TheRedPiranha James… you know where I’m from. If I’m at commissioner level, I’d like a pay rise and my report will be written on a postit sheet.

@JohnEmerson0111 Love to cut AUKUS but there’s massive local and international pressure to spend on defence. I think with AUKUS gone ON or any govt would have to spend the money on some other war machine

I see Malcolm Roberts is posting that One Nation will remove the excise on beer and spirits in licensed venues. Sounds wonderful but this would cost the budget upwards of $5 BILLION. So tax payers, be they drinkers or not, would end up paying one way or the other!

@andrewdunx Yep there are problems and audits are good at checking the sums but not always good at seeing if an organisation / program is fulfilling its charter. BTW … ON not good with its admin… agms not timely, financial returns not timely

Means test NDIS. Min 2 years jail for any provider overcharging NDIS. no pension if your home is worth over $2M No job seeker if you’re not an actual job seeker No legal aid just for certain races No subsidised services for foreign students No advertising using tax payer revenue No payments to politicians based on how many votes they get No maintained offices and staff for former PMs and politicians That’s off the top of my head.

@iwearahoodie What subsidised services do foreign students get? They can’t even get into Medicare… they have to pay into a special fund to get medical support

@iwearahoodie So all those pensioners who through their hard work and frugal lifestyles with an age old family home that has risen to more than $2m would lose their pensions. Just nasty

@CottonEyeAndy As not for profit organisations unions are except from federal income tax. They do pay gst, payroll tax, fringe benefit tax. If their mandatory reporting does reveal profits these are examined by the ATO. These are the same rules for other not for profits eg charities, schools,

@rationalaussie @CottonEyeAndy So what’s the time requirement in the private sector before one can stand for parliament? And why does that length of time make the difference? And any research behind this?

If you're wondering why Australia feels so broken and corrupt right now, it is because 80% of the Labor Party has never worked more than 5 years in the private sector. They have stolen from you their entire life.

Australia Institute Chief Economist Greg Jericho shuts down claims that Labor’s CGT changes will hike rents & reduce housing supply, saying actually, “the best thing about this policy is over the long term it will reduce rental rates & increase home ownership rates.”🎯 #auspol

@moresunshine_1 All Australian alcohol producers and suppliers have a mandatory commitment to alcohol harm reduction. The excise goes to the govt which also uses some of it for alcohol harm reduction

Cutting public service to replace them with consultants…Morrison style
Critical B@bbox

@Markyles @AustralianCelt @chapman_auspol Exactly! And it didn’t even save money. They just got the big consultancy firms in to replace the public service, costing much more, losing all that senior knowledge and operating illegally with secret PS knowledge use to profit unethically. All it got us was a $ Trillion debt

@_SocialDemocrat As you know that’s exactly why ON is proposing cutting beer and spirit excise. The drunks will love it. Do you remember back in the day when the interest in the budget was to check if beer or ciggies were going up or down?
