As it is never to late to learn, I am enrolled as student at CSHL, taking a course on Metabolomics. We are planning and doing experiments🤩, analyzing data 🤨, lots of data😵💫I am the only PI among the group os 18 pdocs and students. An amazing experience.

Before scRNA-seq there was a comprehensive collection of gene expression patterns in zebrafish embryos painstakingly generated and generously shared by Bernard and Christine Thisse. Bernard will be missed, but the many Thisse scientific advances will stand the test of time.

Congratulations to Dr. Marlies Rossmann @FinAndTonic_us: #ISFS2021 fellow. A medical doctor by training, she did her PhD @stonybrooku. Her postdoc @HSCRB focused on transcriptional requirements in early hematopoiesis and their link to metabolism, using zebrafish and human cells.

Congrats to Chloe Baron and Alicia McConnell on leading a very successful Camp Zon with 30 high school students!! Can't believe that the students learned how to reprogram blood with transcription factors, program in R and used FACS to evaluate GFP levels in blood cells. Amazing!
