Line 1: "Is the SAT making a comeback?" NO. The combined 1st year class of Dartmouth, Yale, MIT is under 4,000. These tiny, niche schools are an outpost- not a signpost- for #HigherEducation. Bottom Line: testing reqs/prefs vary widely- and that won't be changing anytime soon.

Updates from Rutgers: Over 63,000 first-year applications received for the fall 2024 term, a 60% increase from fall 2023! Important to note the incoming class size will not increase from 2023, meaning this year will be a significantly more competitive selection process.
