DURBAN IS BURNING!!! The carnage and devastation of Durban continues as pro Jacob Zuma barbaric and violent eThekwini staff continue striking. The disgraceful mayor Mxolisi Kaunda who promised to fire striking workers has backtracked on that decision. Burst water pipes in the entire city. No lights, no water. Albert Luthuli Hospital substation was damaged on Monday and the hospital has been running on generators since then and has canceled all elective surgery. Patients are being diverted to other hospitals who are facing the same challenges. There is fear the generators will break down very soon. The contractors were sent to repair the substation but were shot at while trying to do so and had to leave. The handful of people who were arrested, were quickly given bail and have rejoined the violent strike. It’s total carnage, with no absolutely leadership from eThekwini and no end in sight. IS MXOLISI KAUNDA WORKING WITH JACOB ZUMA AND MK PARTY TO DESTROY ANC IN DURBAN

What I learnt this week. It takes 10L of water to flush a toilet, 120L to run a bath, 20L to wash dishes, 5L for drinking water. Strong people can only carry 2 x 20L buckets at a time. I’ll never take working taps for granted in Durban again. 🙏🏽 #kznfloods

President Cyril Ramaphosa gets emotional while addressing the nation. He pleads for everyone to just listen and rigorously so. He says “ I beg of you all.”

People who want hard lockdowns normally have very little to lose financially. Their salary’s will be paid & pension fund contributions made. Waiters, cleaners, domestic workers, petrol attendants, the 2 million who have already lost their jobs are all just collateral damage.

They ban cig sales because they are concerned for peoples health (wink-wink) But not concerned enough to get them food during a pandemic, or grants to prevent them from starving, replace pit toilets at schools, or provide water and sanitation or housing?

So as I thought they did share a light. Thanks to whomever took the video
