Greeted this morning by numerous parents taking delightful '1st day of school' pics as I walked into work. But as I got to @RMCH I saw this family escorting their little one to hospital instead. Reminded that we exist to make '1st day of school' possible for some at another time.

Pushing out the culinary boat today...had no idea this even existed. Holy smokey 😃

Back on the #Couchto5k wagon. Come off it so many times because of my joints. Congratulated an Asian teenage girl in the park who was trying to do it too. It made her smile and feel even more motivated. We need to cheer strangers along. It builds a positive, healthier community.

Just finished this book. As a medic, why read it? It's not 100% applicable, but as a clinical director in the NHS, I want to be better at what I do and inspire my teams to provide better healthcare to patients. If you're a team leader, I suggest you do. @StevenBartlett

Proud of this little completed crotchet project that is going to be posted to someone special. Crotchet, as a hobby during sedentary times, helps with mindfulness, concentration and visualisation of small achievements. It can also give joy to others through gifting. Have a go!

And it was delicious. A sprinkle of salt and pepper, a touch of olive oil, grated parmesan and juice of half a lemon.
