People are barricaded in shops. Others are unable to get down the street. Why? Because this is the “Clapham youth” in London. They have stormed the high street and are looting shops. Does not seem like anyone is being arrested yet. Instead police stand and watch. You can guarantee that if they were a large group of white kids they would be arrested in minutes. This is not the first time they have done this in the last few days. Their behaviour is feral.

Imagine if the 'far right' had carried on like the thugs in Clapham yesterday. Keir Starmer would be telling the judiciary to let them feel the full force of the law. And the judges would sentence them all to 31 months in prison. Like Lucy Connolly. Who wasn't a thug, didn't loot or steal. Just wrote words she later deleted. Imagine.

Update. Have just tried to go to M&S on Clapham high street. It is flanked by police who inform me all shops on the high street are closed as they are being looted by teenagers. Lawful citizens can’t shop, private businesses closed. Youths still causing havoc. Lawless London.

Last year I attended a community police event in Clapham. They laughed at the suggestion of arresting youths for ‘minor’ shoplifting.. They wouldn’t bother arresting someone smoking cannabis. Why would they care about such ‘small’ crimes? This is the inevitable outcome 👇

@cessonmute I usually just slip my hand in the other dude's pocket, turn it inside out and gently guide him out of the way with the turned our pocket whilst gently breathing on his neck. Works every time.

@Cal_III Hot take, if someone decides to try and hinder you by laying underneath your vehicle, it should not only be allowed, but actively encouraged to carry on as normal and let them suffer the consequences of their own stupidity.

@p90jck @sofiaa02xx This is what's so depressing. Those of us on an average or slightly below average salary have to deal with the boosted prices that stem from the government mandating larger overheads. It's so frustrating always having to compete with the lowest common denominator.

@MartFromEngland @sofiaa02xx Yep. Minimum wage has gone up so much, i think maybe 9%, 8% and 6% ish in 3 years in a row. But anyone not on that is lucky to see 3%. Race to the bottom

Wages going up by 50p while everything else is rising way faster… make it make sense. UK inflation is still around 3% Food prices are up - 4%+ right now Energy bills expected to rise by - £290 this year And we’re meant to feel a 50p increase??🤦🏻‍♀️

@sofiaa02xx That wage rise you just mentioned covers all of that 😂 for people on minimum wage or on benefits as they rise too. Its the middle earners that lose out as they likely wont receive any rise as its not mandated

Pardon me if I'm wrong, but you seem to be under the impression that if not for humans, nature would exist in a balanced equilibrium and tick along without issue?
