Today we recognize 65yrs since the #MontgomeryBusBoycott. Many brave women & men defied systematic discrimination & sparked a movement fighting for freedom & justice right here in MGM. Thank you to all the Alabamians who paved the way for equality & changed the course of history.

Rosa Parks’ refusal to move to the back of that Montgomery bus in 1955 sparked a movement that changed Alabama for the better & changed America for good. Let us always remember & honor the courage & sacrifice of the individuals who contributed to the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
