@balefulrays Yes I totally agree. Enjoying another’s joy is good for us as well as others. Congratulating others on their achievements is good for both parties . Smiling is also great way of engaging.

@psychic_nonna Yes I agree and like that. I always like to break it down as say “ what is it which we enjoy something material ? “ , and say it has to be related to desire because the object itself is just an object.

@libramoongal That makes sense. I can’t remember if Jupiter is friendly with the sun or not, I do believe ancient astrologers had it as wandering stars can either be friendly or not with each other.

Ricardo Calvário - History Myths & Legends
The full article I wrote for this Trialog episode: Solipsism: The Veil of Solitary Mind There once was a man who said: “God Must think it exceedingly odd If He finds that this tree Continues to be When there’s no one about in the Quad.” To what God replied: “Dear Sir, your astonishment’s odd; I am always about in the Quad. And that’s why the tree Will continue to be, Since observed by Yours faithfully, God.” At the core of human inquiry lies a disquieting possibility: that the only reality possessing absolute certainty is the silent, self-aware pulse of one’s own consciousness. Everything else - the vast architecture of galaxies, the intimate contours of faces, the immutable laws of physics - may amount to nothing more than intricate projections woven within that solitary awareness. This doctrine bears the name solipsism, from the Latin solus ipse, “only I” or “alone self.” In its metaphysical expression, it asserts the self as the singular existent; in its more measured epistemological form, it maintains that no verification can ever pierce the neural veil to confirm an independent external world. The proposition draws its first persuasive force from the everyday theatre of dreams. Within sleep, the mind forges entire civilizations, conversations laced with apparent autonomy, and sensory tempests so vivid they rival waking experience. Only upon awakening does the illusion dissolve. Solipsism simply refuses the boundary: why assume that this ostensibly awakened state operates under different rules? Neuroscience lends weight to the question. Every datum of colour, sound, and causality traces back to electrochemical symphonies confined within the skull; no sensory signal ever escapes the private circuitry of the observer. The external world, however consistent it appears, remains forever mediated and therefore suspect. Ancient traditions already registered the tremor. In the Zhuangzi, a philosopher awakens uncertain whether he is a man who dreamed he was a butterfly or a butterfly now dreaming he is a man. The Greek sophist Gorgias sharpened the blade further, declaring that nothing exists, or if it does, it is unknowable and incommunicable. Centuries later, René Descartes, in a candlelit chamber of radical doubt, employed the fiction of an evil deceiver to strip away every contingent belief until only the cogito ergo sum remained: “I think, therefore I am.” The thinking substance, res cogitans, stood alone; the door to solipsism had been left ajar. Modern echoes reverberate through quantum observation, where measurement collapses possibility into actuality, and through the simulation hypothesis, which frames reality as coded projection without external anchor. Yet the idea, however elegant, encounters formidable resistance. Occam’s razor favors the simpler hypothesis: the world behaves as though it is real, governed by stable laws and populated by minds that consistently surprise and contradict expectation. Linguistic philosophy, most notably in Wittgenstein, observes that even the utterance of solipsism presupposes a public grammar and shared concepts born in the company of others - thus undermining the very claim it seeks to advance. Psychologically, the position proves untenable; no one lives as though loved ones are mere shadows cast by solitary light. Morally, it frays at the edges: if every presence is illusion, the foundations of ethics dissolve into private reverie. Unfalsifiable, scientifically superfluous, and existentially corrosive, solipsism nevertheless endures as the sharpest scalpel ever laid against certainty itself. It does not invite belief; it compels interrogation. In revealing the fragile poetry of knowledge - where truth may forever lie one veil removed - it restores a necessary humility to the scientific and philosophical enterprise. The cosmos, whether dream or datum, continues to unfold. The mind, gazing inward, confronts the oldest question: origin or echo, the dreamer or the dream that has forgotten its source. In the 1930s, A.J. Ayer and the Vienna Circle said as follows: A statement is cognitively meaningful only if it is either analytically true (true by definition or logical form) or empirically verifiable (capable, at least in principle, of being confirmed or disconfirmed through sensory experience). Anything that cannot be verified in this way is declared meaningless - or, in the looser everyday rendering you recalled, irrelevant to genuine knowledge or discourse. Metaphysical claims, theological assertions, ethical judgements, and aesthetic pronouncements all fall into this category: since they cannot be reduced to observable facts or tautologies, they are dismissed not as false, but as literally without truth-value, mere expressions of emotion or pseudo-statements. The verification principle was later turned against itself (it cannot be empirically verified, so by its own standard it is meaningless - an objection Ayer eventually acknowledged). Yet it remains a crisp, provocative tool for clearing philosophical underbrush: it forces us to ask, of any grand claim about reality, “What observable difference would it make if this were true?”

thomas moore says that what characterizes “soul” is depth. when we feel pain, agony, joy, love, when we feel the significance of life and death. huston smith says life is too deep for it to be insignificant. i love depth as a metaphor.

@arts_fantastic Yes agree. I would suggest as a theory that God is fundamental information itself & all that is observable via senses is an emergence of that , therefore everything is ultimately God . I don’t think there is any need for a separate creator, God is sum of parts not separate.

What if god is actually the intelligent organic server that this and all potentials in the form of plasma potential codes as the "field' is stored on and we just access the information to consciously stream as we dream (or play) reality?

March 21-22, 2026 The Moon has now entered Taurus, the place of her exaltation. This is the best sign for her to occupy. Life (Moon) therefore presents us with some of its most favourable expressions. Taurus is active and productive by nature, not lazy as modern astrologers claim. Combined with the current trine between Mars and Jupiter, we are presented with an opportunity to make great advancements in our plans and desires. As the Sun is also now in the place of its exaltation, we have three planets operating at their best. With the vernal equinox marking the beginning of a new astrological year, it is an auspicious time to set sail on one's ambitions, as the celestial winds favour success. #astrology

@JupitersBunni If as many physicists claim that the universe ( space time) is deterministic, then by default the ancient astrologers were onto something with regards to fate and fortune.

It's just funny seeing ignorant people in the wild, if you wanna act smart then why not disprove astrology is bullshit by applying it? Why not go off and see if it really is as bullshit as you claim? Then you have an actual reason to be against it, but alas, all they have is "MAN ITS SO DUMB" (because they can't understand it, and only choose to understand the surface level of what they've seen it do....admit it...)
Joshua Kaye@JoshuaDKaye_

A lot of people mock astrology without ever having encountered the real thing. They’re reacting to a media caricature, then calling their conditioning critical thought. Unfortunately, many don’t have the self awareness to use their brains.

i think that's always been a part of astrology as well, but modern astrology emphasizes it more as one of its pillars of application. it's important to remember that the hellenistics were using astrology originally to make political predictions (of the ruler for example, using eclipses, the ruler's chart representing the people), weather predictions, natural disasters, etc. predictions weren't solely for private individuals, especially the common folk until later- prediction was still a main purpose for hellenistic nevertheless

a big difference between modern (18th-19th century forward) and traditional astrology (hellenistic to 17th century) is the stance they take on prediction. traditional astrology considers prediction a primary goal in its application, while modern astrology sees it more as a description of psychological urges. not one is more important than the other. scholars in different historical eras had different views, skepticisms, and fears on the practice of prediction as a spiritual or ritualistic practice. this difference is present in history, and it helps knowing it.
