@KanwarSierah Great analysis, 600k of the works permits are humanitarian work permits that issued to Ukrainians (400k), Iranians(110k), and other nationalities (90k). IRCC gives a new work permit or extension for another two or three years when these work permits expires.

🚨 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮’𝘀 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗻🚨 Undocumented Population Increases Exponentially📈
Temporary Residents count drops massively by 𝟰𝟲𝟭,𝟲𝟴𝟴 (𝟭𝟰.𝟳%) from Q1, 2025. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗔 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 during that period. Let’s do the MATH👇
🔺𝗙𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘆𝗹𝘂𝗺 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀:
Q1, 2025: 459,920
Q1, 2026: 518,489
𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲: +𝟱𝟴,𝟱𝟲𝟵 (+𝟭𝟮.𝟳%)
🔻𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 & 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀:
Q1, 2025: 2,678,209
Q1, 2026: 2,157,952
𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲: -𝟱𝟮𝟬,𝟮𝟱𝟳 (-𝟭𝟵.𝟰%)
👉 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀: More than one million work permits expired last year, yet only about half of those individuals seem to have left Canada.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁.
That points to 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗳 𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 to Canada’s undocumented population.

In my opinion, if you're unsure about what to study, consider pursuing Electrical Engineering. You will learn complex subjects that enhance your ability to learn quickly. EE is enjoyable, and you'll also gain knowledge in system design. Additionally, I believe the next exciting wave of companies will be hardware and AI.

Dear @elonmusk,
You are working on Direct‑to‑Cell service that connects normal smartphones directly to low‑Earth‑orbit satellites with no extra dish.
Please consider activating this service, even as a test, over Iran’s airspace. It would help millions of Iranians under severe internet shutdowns and also help your project discover real‑world problems faster in one of the toughest environments.
Iranians will remember who stood by them when their internet was taken away.

This is, I believe, the single greatest threat to Canada’s long-term prosperity and survival. Canadians over 65 now outnumber those under 20 — and the trend is only accelerating.

@PhilSmith26 Directly correlated with Goverment Deficits. US started 7% of GDP average deficit vs 1% Canada around 2009 and they kept going. Which one is better, productivity or Deficit? I ask this question every time I see the US VS Canada graphs
English

Estimated labour productivity growth in Canadian business surpassed that in the US between 1947 and 1985, fell short by 1.2 percentage points between 1985 and 2010, was about the same between 2010 and 2019, and fell short again between 2019 and 2025, this time by 1.4 percentage points. #cdnecon

@WiretapMediaCa USA is not hiring immigrants. So, develop our own engineers, researchers, etc. Make 🇨🇦
English

💥REPORT: Immigration Canada was instructed by the Federal Govt to stop accelerated immigration to engineers, AI scientists, and researchers. Instead, we replaced them with third-world cooks and Uber drivers.
Resulting in Canadian-trained professionals moving to the US to build their digital infrastructure.

Minister Diab's announced changes to Express Entry are a smart, targeted move to strengthen our talent pipeline in high-demand fields like STEM, health care and skilled trades. By prioritizing advanced skills and aligning immigration selection with labour market needs, we can boost productivity, accelerate innovation and reinforce Canada’s global competitiveness. These changes build on the federal government’s broader efforts to attract top global talent and fast-track study permits for advanced degree students. @CitImmCanada @MartinBasiri

@balajis Low Fertility rate has massive social problem beside economic ones. Robot might solve the economic ones but human will disappear if we don’t replace our population.
