@TedUrchin There were a number of reasons people voted for Brexit. I know a couple who voted for brexit because they wanted Cameron and Osbourne out. I think the hope was a sensible government would take over and sort the mess out. Then the choice was Corbyn or Johnson, sigh

Sorry, but even after all this time, I still cannot believe the narrow-minded idiots in this country voted to remove our Freedom of Movement in that ridiculous referendum. Their selfishness still astounds me. Did they never think about the young people of this currently disunited kingdom? Arse ‘oles, they are. Arse ‘oles. #BrexitBrokeBritain, and in so many ways.

All evidence has been heard. All submissions made. I have fallen in love with the British legal system. I’m aware that statement may come back to haunt me. But this is the greatest country on earth. It’s beer time now.

@thom_brooks @campbellclaret When there is a deal (with Sunak) close on the NI protocol you should keep quiet. If your loudmouth political gesturing puts the deal at risk, you must be compared in diplomacy terms to Jhonston, frost and all the other uk, so called politicians/diplomats. I hate brexit & tories

@antonyruston @Schmoo1408 @SkyNewsBreak You are probably right. But the tory party as a whole are ,broken, corrupt and incompetent. The last election was between dumb and dumber. Cornyn had gone and the Labour Party can not do worse than this corrupt government. In normal Sunna s tax dodging would mean resignation

@Adam52691971 @NIAbbot I didn't want to leave. Assuming there is a vote to re join should we not make the same mistake and know the T&C before the vote

@Andrew_B_75 @NIAbbot We are unfortunately. I think we cannot rejoin without a vote and maybe this time know the terms before the vote. Before that why not join the EU in a free trade deal

@guyverhofstadt @campbellclaret I didn't vote to leave. Assuming we applied to rejoin I think to avoid repeating past mistakes the terms of membership should be clear before any further referendum. Not of course it can be taken for granted that membership will be approved by 27 countries anyway

@ashleyljames Erm just the beginning but accusations of unconscious racism and being part of the problem for one. Didn't watch this bore fest but can't avoid the news. You know that when they got engaged I didn't even notice she was mixed race. But she has made a big deal of it I know

Can any of Meghan and Harry's critics show me the bit they slagged off the royal family? Because I honestly feel like I watched an entirely different documentary to you people.

@campbellclaret I agree with everything you say. Unfortunately you will forever be associated with WMD in Iraq. When you can justify this - you have a right to comment

Oh dear. This suggests Sunak may have misled the Commons on his very first outing as PM …. Doubts arise over Braverman’s claim to have come forward about code breach | Suella Braverman | The Guardian theguardian.com/politics/2022/…

@janiswilsonSNP @GordonBrown Because of the unusual times energy bills have surged. I think Gordon Bron ould have dealt better with this the the tories and the SNP should not use this to hide behind economic disaster in all areas that they are inflicting on Scotland.

1/ Having been promised an energy price freeze, millions will be shocked when hit with a 25% rise in fuel bills in October. 5 million kids risk being pushed into poverty, with charities having to stop feeding the hungry so they can help the starving. We have to act. [THREAD]

@NicolaSturgeon I agree this government is useless and totally unqualified to govern. However the SNP are doing even worse for Scotland. Focus on sorting your own house out and don't try to get independence based on lies. We all know how that works out

@Anna_Soubry @TomTugendhat For Liz Truss to accuse the Civil Service of being constitutionally antisemitic is an appalling new low, when she is "found out" she will go down and will take the Tory Party with her.

@DMinghella They should and will be. But what does that achieve. The house of Lords is no longer un un elected independent body holding thr government to account. I can complain with the best of them but an never answer "what is the solution"
