Police apparently raided the Cape Town property formerly occupied by MP Fadiel Adams.
It’s believed he moved out of the house two months ago.
Adams claims officers harassed a woman and her small children living there, pointed firearms at them, photographed their ID documents by force, wore balaclavas, refused to identify themselves, and did not produce a search warrant.
Adams is planning to open criminal charges.

GRASSY PARK E-HAILING ROBBERY Grassy Park police have opened a robbery with firearm case after an e‑hailing driver was targeted in Parkwood on Saturday 25 April 2026. Western Cape SAPS media liaison Sergeant Wesley Twigg confirmed that the incident happened at about 8:47pm in Pers Road when the driver responded to a pickup request. Two unknown men entered the vehicle and one of them produced a firearm. The driver was robbed of personal belongings and cash before the suspects fled the scene. Police confirmed that no arrests have been made and the matter is still under investigation. Police have appealed to the public for assistance. Mathipandile Sotheni, accused of murdering Witness D (Marius van der Merwe), is scheduled to return to the Brakpan Magistrate's Court today for a formal bail application.
The former SAPS Special Task Force member is facing charges of premeditated murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and attempted murder.
Suspended EMPD deputy chief, Julius Mkhwanazi, is also back in the Boksburg Magistrate's Court.
He and the City of Ekurhuleni's City Manager, Kagiso Lerutla, are applying for bail after being arrested last week on charges including corruption and fraud.
It’s believed further charges are being investigated against both men.
