Black-crowned Night Heron at Grimley CLP yesterday morning. A long long wait for one in Worcestershire, it eventually showed very well at the southern end, still present this evening #WorcsBirds

Black-crowned Night Heron at Grimley CLP yesterday afternoon. I watched it between 2-5 as it perched in its favourite tree, sleeping (a lot), occasionally preening, scratching, wing stretching and halfhearted fishing. It moved a meter along the branch in 3 hours #WorcsBirds

@AlanDaviesbirds Hi Alan, I personally had no issues, I took it in my hand luggage with my bins, scope and camera equipment, not questioned at all

Morocco - the day in the desert was fantastic. Egyptian Nightjar must have arrived early this year to have a chick on 1 March, the local guide hadn't noticed the chick huddled next to the adult 4/5
