A true story: a friend’s dog developed lethargy and cough, vet took CXR which showed pneumonia. 2 days later friend developed lethargy and cough, internist did CXR showed pneumonia treated w Z-pak. Was this a case of CAP (Canine Acquired Pneumonia)?

@MartinTallman Absolutely. My friend's dog had the same problem, and it cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to cure it. Pneumonia in dogs is a very serious condition.

@beatalleukemia @ASH_hematology @KellyLBolton Agree. BTW the Presidential Symposium at #ASH2021 focused on targeting P53 mutant hematologic malignancies. Needless to say it remains a major area of unmet need.

CDK4/6 inhibition mitigates chemotherapy-induced expansion of TP53-mutant clonal hematopoiesis. 2nd study post tomorrow!
