Firm agree with @theburntpeanut - We cannot make Gaming like Hollywood and risk averse. Innovation gave us Arc. Innovation has given us bangers. Franchises lasting longer than Fast & Furious is bad for the future of games. Give things a chance and time to breathe.

@Yin_NGMI @MarathonDevTeam The flares were a terrible decision because of how much they invite third partying. It’s part of why that game has god awful PvP. A subtle audio cue could be enough bc the down icon is easy to miss.

I think @MarathonDevTeam needs to add a better way to detect when someone is down. It’s one thing I liked about ARC is the flares. Flares made me know someone was down and made me feel like going towards that area. For me it kind of encouraged player engagement.

@MarathonDevTeam Glad to see you so open to feedback, unfortunately feel like this is way too much to change before official launch. The gunplay and PVP itself is good, which is a major plus but there's a lot of work that needs to be done to other parts of the gameplay loop.

Server Slam day 1 carries on! Thanks to all of your feedback, we've got crucial intel that will help us make updates during the Slam and tie up any loose ends as we continue towards March 5. As we continue through the test, we wanted to give you a heads-up on what we're seeing: Mouse input causing lag: We've seen reports that the mouse input stops working when players are running any form of streaming software (Discord, OBS, etc.). We've got a solid set of data on this as it stands, but please keep the reports coming. Voice not working in-run: We've heard reports that in-game voice is working fine in the menus, but not inside of runs. We've got some great leads, but keep the reports coming. Names changing to "Redacted": This issue has been resolved! But, to help make sure you get everything taken care of, we've issued everyone a new name change token (help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/artic…) or if you'd prefer, you can file an appeal to get some help changing your name back (help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/artic…) Textures not loading in/performance issues: Hardware configurations can span far and wide, so thank you all for letting us know what you're running into. If you're looking for more PvP, we have some recommendations: Perimeter (Beginner) intentionally infils fewer Runners - head to Perimeter and then Dire Marsh for a greater challenge. Additionally, the UESC are deadlier than you might think and will wipe you off the map (thus limiting the lobby's PvP opportunities) if you let them swarm.
