@a_thomas1958 @Gloscricket My favourite ever batsman. I liked Stov & Sadiq but the disappointment of one of those getting out soon diminished when Zed strode to crease. Hardly a stroke played, all timing & be in 30's or 40's before you knew it . Privileged to had watched him . Lovely bloke too .

Good morning's play in boiling hot conditions at Windward CC between Barbados (Warrican) 72-3 v Barbados (Brathwaite). Happy to find some decent cricket of first class standard.

@a_thomas1958 Loved the Speedway on a Friday night .The smell. Great crowds too. I used to race around Eastville park on my chopper (not a euthanism) pretending to be Phil Crump, Vaclav Verner or Michael Lee . Again, courtesy of Dad, able to get access to pits & get autographs (not selfies) !

@a_thomas1958 And full of tiny stones & shingles . Played on it & it was treacherous . Bumpy , uneven and slope . That's my excuse for poor first touch 😀

@a_thomas1958 @Gloscricket Yes , miss the old year books . If it was a cost cutting decision or a 'green' one , I'm sure members & supporters would be prepared to pay for the publication .

@a_thomas1958 @Official_BRFC @ChesterfieldFC Mark Johns. From Bristol Manor Farm ? A real fairytale debut plucked from grass roots. He was in the Friends of Bath club bar after & didn't stop smiling . Couldn't take in what had happened. Quite a few local lads (part-time) represented club then & played with so much pride.

Rupert is a successful businessman who gives his salary, as an MP , to charity. I might have my differences with him but he’s not a scrounger like the majority of MPs. If I ever come into politics my register of interests will longer than Tolstoy’s war & peace - Good 😊…
Ben Obese-Jecty MP@BenObeseJecty

Of course he’ll fight it, it’s a cash cow for him. According to his Register of Interests X paid him £45,896.77 in just ten months last year. Don’t let him pretend he’s doing you a favour.
