@henrywinter Looks average to me Henry, another overhyped English player. Dowman won’t make it, just like the Rio lad at LFC.
English

Max Dowman turned up. Few of his team-mates did. Dowman kept taking responsibility, kept taking the knocks and kept going, trying to drag Arsenal back into the tie against spirited Saints. Arsenal needed more players to show the 16-year-old’s hunger. #SOUARS
English

@MMc1878 @mitchy07101987 He’s not unreal lol, he’s pretty average tbh, but has been better than Wirtz so far. Looks a bit overweight to me which perhaps why Pep doesn’t seem to totally trust him.
English

@mitchy07101987 Cherki is not overrated at all. He’s unreal. Wirtz on the other hand doesn’t turn up most weekends.
English

@nonewthing Arsenal probably just about beat 84, they will lose at City which means 88 at best but they likely drop points in at least one more game. Think they win with 86.
English

Did everyone forget that Arsenal & City were decimated with injuries that season & Liverpool finished with the lowest points ever since Leicester?
Rafael Hernández@RafaelH117
Liverpool's season prove one thing, that the Premier League title truly was truly Klopp's and now we can see Slot couldn't build or improve the squad at all.
English

@StPhilipthe2nd @Realkeithmason I want to beat Saints in anything, don’t care if it’s tiddlywinks.
English

@MartynRees10 @Realkeithmason Yeah beating our reserve reserves well done 😂😂
English

All the best boys! This team could beat a few SuperLeague teams!

English

@mediocentr0 Since Real sacked Alonso, they’ve lost to a non league team to be knocked out of the copa del rey, gone from a point off the top of la Liga to possibly 7 points off the top tonight, from 3rd in the CL to having to go through the play offs 🤣

@StPhilipthe2nd @Realkeithmason You were saying? Few of them should be starting for the first team but unfortunately Peet will continue with underperforming players.
English

@Realkeithmason They won’t beat our reserve reserves today. COYS
English

@raducrisanx City have got this to come Radu, just wait when Pep leaves in a few months lol.
English

@mhartg1 @Keri_Anne93 @Mannie_LFC Patience in football haha, Slot won a title and people want him gone, and rightly so. Nobody is getting patience, particularly someone like a Hoeness who is likely next manager.
English

@MartynRees10 @Keri_Anne93 @Mannie_LFC It’s why I’m hopeful people are patient for the next manager cause there’s a good chance the next two years are very similar while the next guy works in another 8-10 guys
English

@DavidCass_ @Kieran97800163 He’s not, he’s just a name who hasn’t been fit and motivated for years. Also Hull are not the club to go to get him fit and motivated.
English

@MartynRees10 @Kieran97800163 He’s a very good player when fit and motivated.
English

No brainier for me for the rest of the season. Massive bloke with good hands, can play 13 or prop and is currently without a club.
ᴀᴀʀᴏɴ ʙᴏᴡᴇʀ@AaronBower
Understand Tevita Pangai Jr's name has been circulated to clubs as a mid-season transfer option, with the French rugby union season winding down and the prop open to moving to England for the rest of 2026. loverugbyleague.com/post/tevita-pa…
English

@DavidCass_ @Kieran97800163 Signing players like this is why Hull don’t achieve anything, he’s without a club for a reason.
English

@Kieran97800163 If we had any ambition for the rest of the year.
English

@Corballyred Wirtz is not PL standard, I’d look to loan him out in the summer in the hope he performs and we get some of our money back in 2027. We wouldn’t get £30 million right now. Cherki is 10 times the players and he cost £25 million.
English

My thoughts on the match 🤬:
-Embarrassing performance — where was the fight???
-Sack Slot before he walks out the Etihad. Anyone backing him for next season is delusional.
-He's lost the fans. 58th-minute walkouts say it all.
-We don't look fit. No intensity in training videos explains it.
-Love Salah, but that was painful. Take him off penalties.
-Midfield is a joke — the space we give teams is criminal.
-Gravenberch cannot play 6 next season. No chance.
-Wirtz was excellent first half. He'll shine under a new manager.
-Ekitike looked sharp in patches.
-Gomez actually kept Doku quiet for once.
-Jones isn't Liverpool quality — let him go in the summer.
-Konate was all over the place.
I could go on and on that performance is not acceptable 🤬

English

@mhartg1 @Keri_Anne93 @Mannie_LFC And needing all that most likely without CL football to help fund it.
English

@MartynRees10 @Keri_Anne93 @Mannie_LFC If you think about it over the next two years the squad will likely need 1-2 GKers, a LB, 1-2 CBs depending on Konate, 2 RBs, 2-3 MFers and 2-3 attackers. Thats not a good squad if you need that much
English

@Keri_Anne93 @Mannie_LFC Not so sure about that tbh, obviously Slot is not the answer but also think we’ve made some real expensive mistakes in the summer that is going to bite us. Even recently with Gravenberch £280k a week. It’s going to be a difficult few years at least I think.
English

@Mannie_LFC Honestly I don’t think it’s that. I just think it’s Slot, once he finally fucks off Liverpool will be fine. They’ve got the squad, they just are lead by a fucking melon
English

@BayernSpaceTV Wirtz is absolutely shite, you have to be on the wind up surely. He’s as bad as I’ve seen tbh. He’s just not PL level sadly.
English

In the very first minute of the game, Florian Wirtz was already responsible for one of the most physics-defying dribbles European football, and particularly the Premier League, has ever seen. How he managed to hold on to the ball against three City players will go down in the history books, not just as brilliance, but as something that felt almost impossible to comprehend.
These are exactly the moments he once promised his father and agent, Hans-Joachim Wirtz, moments that were never meant to be ordinary, but destined to elevate him to the Ballon d’Or podium and place him among the game’s untouchables.
His confidence right now is unmatched, it radiates through every movement, every touch, every decision. It is further fueled by his recent performances for the national team, where he has already begun to shape moments that feel detached from reality itself. The goal he scored existed beyond logic, beyond the laws of physics, as if the sport briefly stepped outside its own boundaries to allow something extraordinary to unfold. The way he bent the ball into the top corner did not just seem unreal, it felt like an angle that should not exist, yet somehow came into existence through him.

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is expected to be cleared to return on Sunday against the Houston Rockets after missing over two months and 27 consecutive games due to a persistent knee injury, sources tell me and @anthonyVslater.

English

@MartynRees10 @Caleb7StH So, we don't let him play on Sunday vs Wakefield
