Hope I didn’t worry anyone with my tweet earlier about living in a world that doesn’t care about me, I’ve just had to do a lot more accessibility advocacy than usual lately and have dealt with more apathy than I would like when trying to get wheelchair-related barriers removed.

Every time i pick up my banjo (made by Jim Hartel) I feel a lick or tune wanting to escape into the world. This is one of hundreds that come and go. I play this banjo, a replica of a banjo style from 1858, because it feels deeply cultural and spiritual to me.
