They said it’s due to the city’s ongoing construction. Which has significantly impacted their facility and ability to work at full capacity. That’s so crazy to me! Chicago is so full of it!

Lovable had an incident this week, and I’m proud of our team for deploying a fix within hours of learning about it. But things shouldn’t have gone this way in the first place, and I take accountability. I’m sorry. The team learned about the incident on X because our own vulnerability disclosure process was broken. That’s not because of our partners at HackerOne. It’s on us. We could’ve reacted much sooner and I never want people to think that the only time we care about an issue is if it goes viral. We care that everyone who uses Lovable can trust it, and trust us, to do right by them. We appreciate and need ethical hackers to help us make the product safer, and security researchers should know we value them. We also made decisions in our product that might’ve felt logical when we launched but feel really out of touch with user expectations now. It doesn’t matter what the intent was, it matters that we make decisions that keep customer trust at the forefront at all times. We’ve done a lot of work on this in the last year, and when things like this incident happen, it shows me there is more to do. So we’re going to do more and we’re going to communicate about it better. Lovable should be the safest place to build. Full write-up from the team and me below, including everything we're changing immediately.
Lovable@Lovable

We have an update on this week's incident, including what happened, what's fixed, and what we're changing: lovable.dev/blog/our-respo…

JUST IN: Dallas police officer shoots 27-year-old suspect after he punched officer in the face during traffic stop At 2:02 a.m. Saturday morning, 27-year-old Jeremy Mays was first approached by Dallas police while walking along the interstate. Officers demanded him to get back into the SUV or face arrest. Just 13 minutes later, officers pulled over the vehicle Mays’ girlfriend was driving near Highland Park Village. During the traffic stop, Mays left the vehicle, hit the officers car, and then struck the officer in the face with a ring on his right hand, causing severe lacerations to the officer’s eyes. The officer then drew his weapon and fired twice, striking Mays once. Mays’ girlfriend fled the scene and is currently being sought by police. Both the officer and Mays were taken to area hospitals with injuries.

So @AnthropicAI is no longer allowing me to scan my own software for security vulnerabilities using Opus 4.7. This is a huge problem. Opus 4.6 this was never an issue. And respectfully Opus 4.6 was a beast at this. I'm really disappointed. Especially since I'm paying $200 month for this. I'm not going to use freaking Sonnet to do security work. @bcherny help us out maannn...

This might be the most legendary retirement project I’ve ever seen. 🚁🛠️ After a lifetime in the cockpit, this pilot found out his original training helicopter was headed for the scrap yard. Instead of letting it be shredded, he bought it, hauled it to the countryside, and did something absolutely wild. He buried it. But this wasn't just a burial—it was an engineering masterpiece: They dug a custom trench and lowered the entire fuselage underground. Built a stunning, modern A-frame cabin directly over the site. Transformed the interior into a high-tech, fully functional bunker. The craziest part? The cockpit has been converted into a pro-level flight simulator using the original controls. He can literally "fly" his favorite bird while 10 feet underground. This is a masterclass in recycling and preserving a legacy. Imagine walking into someone’s living room, opening a floor hatch, and descending into a piece of aviation history. Is this the ultimate "Man Cave" or just the smartest way to prep for the future?

The NFL is not reviewing the conduct of New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel in the wake of photos taken of him with journalist Dianna Russini, league spokesman Brian McCarthy told ESPN. McCarthy said that the league would not be reviewing whether Vrabel violated the NFL’s personal conduct policy, which states that players, coaches and executives must not engage in “conduct detrimental to the integrity of and public confidence in” the NFL. @BillAckman This extra tax will do more harm to NYC. We were on the fence about keeping our house there, now this pushed us over the fence to sell it, which will also reduce time spent in NYC and yes, missed sales tax

Non-residents who spend millions of dollars on NYC apartments help drive NYC’s economy. Most of the profit in condominium development is in the penthouses. The Ken Griffins of the world make NYC high end development viable, driving high-paying construction, brokerage, legal, marketing, and other jobs in NYC. We should be applauding Ken for spending $238 million in NYC, not attacking him for doing so. Importantly, non-resident owners of NYC apartments who leave their apartments vacant for much of the year are not a burden to NYC schools, services, or other resources while they drive growth in retail sales, restaurants, theater, and other important drivers of our economy. They also often support NYC non-profits with donations. Ken’s company is a major employer in NYC of very high paying jobs which drive a considerable amount of our tax base. We wouldn’t want him to move even more employees to Miami. These non-resident owners also already pay a lot of taxes including mansion taxes, real estate taxes, sales taxes and more. While @NYCMayor Mamdani likes the tag line ‘Tax the rich.’ Unfortunately, his policies will harm the constituencies he is supposedly trying to help. I can’t imagine the NYC construction unions are excited about his plan.

If we’re just being honest this explanation really makes zero sense. I don’t think anybody should lose their job over alleged canoodling but this statement makes it seem like there was definitely canoodling happening. An innocent canoodler would prob welcome a thorough investigation to prove their innocence and exonerate themselves right? This screams guilty canoodler to me.

In a letter sent Tuesday to Athletic Executive Editor Steven Ginsberg and obtained by The Associated Press, Dianna Russini said: “I have covered the NFL with professionalism and dedication throughout my career, and I stand behind every story I have ever published. When the Page Six item first appeared, The Athletic supported me unequivocally, expressed confidence in my work and pride in my journalism. For that I am grateful. In the days that followed, unfortunately, commentators in various media have engaged in self-feeding speculation that is simply unmoored from the facts. Moreover, this media frenzy is hurtling forward without regard for the review process The Athletic is trying to complete. It continues to escalate, fueled by repeated leaks, and I have no interest in submitting to a public inquiry that has already caused far more damage than I am willing to accept. Rather than allowing this to continue, I have decided to step aside now — before my current contract expires on June 30. I do so not because I accept the narrative that has been constructed around this episode, but because I refuse to lend it further oxygen or to let it define me or my career.”

The research behind this is wild. Your sperm carries a set of instructions that tell your genes when to turn on and off. A Duke University study found that THC rewrites those instructions. The more weed in your system, the bigger the changes. It goes straight for the genes your future embryo needs in its first week of life. I had to read the "day 3 crash" part twice. For the first three days after fertilization, an embryo runs entirely on the mother's DNA. Day 3, the father's genes switch on. If those genes carry cannabis damage, the embryo just stops growing. Fertility doctors see this happen in their labs: embryos that fertilized fine and looked healthy on day 2 go completely still by day 5. Boston University tracked 1,535 couples trying to have a baby. Men who smoked weed once a week or more doubled their partner's miscarriage risk. That number held up even when the woman herself never touched cannabis. And the miscarriages clustered in the first 8 weeks, right when the father's damaged DNA would be doing the most harm. Duke also found that the specific genes THC alters in sperm overlap with genes linked to autism. One of those genes, called DLGAP2, helps brain cells communicate with each other. It was changed in cannabis users' sperm. When researchers bred THC-exposed male rats and checked their offspring, the same altered gene pattern showed up in the pups' brains. The damage crossed a generation. Weed has gotten way stronger over the last 30 years. THC content was about 4% in the 1990s but nearly quadrupled to 15% by 2018, and modern dispensary strains regularly sit at 20-30%. Concentrates go up to 95%. Quitting for about 11 weeks (one full cycle of sperm production) reverses some of the DNA changes. Not all of them. Duke's lead researcher says men should stop at least 6 months before trying for a baby. Half of your kid's genetic blueprint comes from you, and right now, THC is editing that blueprint before conception even happens.
Andrew D. Huberman, Ph.D.@hubermanlab

Cannabis is detrimental to sperm: even if they can fertilize, there can be DNA damage. Many miscarriages and (in the case of IVF) “day 3 crashes” which is when paternal DNA normally kicks in, are cannabis related. Dr Natalie Crawford on the Huberman Lab podcast out now.

My world was turned upside down this weekend. As some of you may have seen, I was featured on a recent episode of Vitaly Zdorovetskiy’s live series, where I was wrongfully portrayed as someone attempting to engage in an inappropriate conduct. This accusation is completely false. Since then, Vitaly has publicly acknowledged, through both written and video statements, that this was a mistake. Additionally, the officers from the Santa Ana Police Department, who I called to the scene, conducted their own assessment and confirmed that I am innocent of any wrongdoing.  I am sincerely grateful to Officers Renald Galstian, Lorenzo Sanchez, and Joanna Hatziefstratiou for their professionalism and for taking the time to carefully evaluate the situation and establish the truth. While I appreciate that the mistake has been acknowledged, the impact of the false accusation has been significant. I have experienced harassment, judgment, and damage to my personal and professional relationships based on something that has now been proven false. I wholeheartedly support efforts to expose real wrongdoing and protect the vulnerable. At the same time, this experience has shown me how important due process and verification are because mistakes, when made publicly, can have serious consequences on innocent lives. Thank you to those who have supported me during this time. Thank you, Akash Singhania

Vitaly issues an apology after a p—phile sting gone wrong, where they repeatedly accused the wrong man of being a p—phile. “My team and I mistakenly portrayed Akash Singhania as a child pred*tor. This was a mistake that I deeply regret. He never intended to meet a minor and has been cleared of all wrongdoing. I apologize to Mr. Singhania, his family, his friends, and anyone else affected by this mistake. To be clear, the work we do to expose predatory behavior is of the utmost importance, but in doing so, we cannot lose sight of the truth. I have removed the video from all my accounts, and I ask that anyone who has saved it please do the same. Though I never encourage anyone to attempt to contact any person in my videos, I ask that anyone who is attempting to contact Mr. Singhaniacease at once. This was a learning experience for my team and me, and we will ensure that we remain committed to the truth, as we always have.” (via: Vitaly on Kick)
