Tomorrow, and in our everyday organizing, we must demand an end to violence against Black, Brown, and Indigenous people, as well as U.S. held political prisoners. This marks over 250 years of a repressive system toward colonized peoples here and abroad.

On July 4, DSA and Marxist Unity Group are attending the National Mobilization Against Genocide, hosted by the Spirit of Mandela Coalition in the ATL to celebrate 250+ Years of Resistance by Black, Brown, and Indigenous Peoples.

The point of saying this, is that Oliver is not coming to labor as merely an individual candidate. He is coming as a member of an organization that is understood locally as one of solidarity. Labor sees how this campaign relates to them. It is not transactional.
