I would personally let Mikel Arteta go in the summer, regardless of winning the Premier League (if he does). This football long-term is just not sustainable. Arsenal have got away with a lot of results this season, which wouldn’t be the case in most instances. His tactical rigidity & eventually doing things too late will cost us. It would be nice if he could win the EPL and go. A new contract - with his high managerial wages already - is too much of a risk.

You can appreciate the result and still question the performance - that’s not “whining”, it’s wanting higher standards. Arsenal winning away at Sporting Lisbon is great, and being top of the league shows progress, but that doesn’t automatically mean the approach is beyond critique. Performances like this - where control is patchy and we rely on fine margins - can catch up with you at the very highest level. Supporting the team should include pushing for improvement, not shutting down valid concerns.
