✈️ I travel a lot and I’ve witnessed @united Airlines rapidly improve over the last few years to the number one spot. I basically fly no one else now. This morning (my first class upgrade was comped), the Captain came out and gave a whole talk on the weather (before taking a vote to change our DC flight to Hawaii instead!!). Now that’s service!

Today, the Russians once again "vanquished" purely civilian sites – ordinary passenger buses in Odesa, ordinary apartment buildings in Zaporizhzhia, and an ordinary hospital in the Kharkiv region. Every single day of this war that Russia is waging against life only proves that supporting Ukraine is the right thing to do from every perspective – defense, political, and simply human. And everyone around the world sees it. They see that Ukraine needs more air defense, more protection for people's lives, and that the Russian authorities have gone insane over this war and are completely irrational in refusing to end it. But pressure on Russia must work. New sanctions against the aggressor, new support packages for Ukraine, new projects – like our European anti-ballistic initiative, FREYJA – all of this must work. Thank you to everyone who is helping. In the near future, there will be meetings and negotiations that must strengthen our defenses.

Russia continues attacking Ukrainian civilians and infrastructure. Last night, Russian forces launched a massive strike with ballistic missiles and 169 drones on Ukraine: ▪️Kyiv: 1 person killed, 2 injured. Fires continue in Sviatoshyn and Desnianskyi districts. 42 trams of Polish Pesa company were damaged in a depot. ▪️Kharkiv: 2 people killed, more than 20 injured (including 3 children). Private houses, a church, cars and a five-story building were damaged. A gas station was also hit. ▪️Chernihiv region: Russian drones struck two enterprises, causing fires and damaging vehicles. ▪️Poltava region: A gas station was attacked. ▪️Odesa region: Three gas stations and an energy infrastructure facility were hit. 11 people injured from the evening strike. ▪️Dnipropetrovsk region: A logistics company facility was attacked.

This is my neighbourhood in Kyiv. I called my granny again and again. She picked up only on the fourth try. She hadn’t slept all night. She was sitting in the corridor, shaking, with cats. That’s it. That’s what Russia does. It turns ordinary homes into places where grandmothers sit on the chair all night, terrified, waiting for the next explosion. This is terror against ordinary people. That’s what Russia does.

A brave person I knew was attacked by a Russian drone a few hours ago in Kherson. He died in a hospital. Two hours later, a hospital was shelled and damaged. A doctor was killed and a nurse injured. Russians kill people with drones. Stop human safari.

…This is a morning for Ukrainians, a morning for Ukraine, and this is what it is like in Kyiv right now. This is not the Donetsk region, where such things have already become a regular occurrence. I remember how what you are seeing once shook the world, but now, today, it simply causes people to have desperate thoughts, a heavy sigh, and silence. Silence, simply because everything has been said long ago, much has been said, and sometimes even very loudly. But... today is morning again for my people. Also, explosions were heard tonight in Sumy, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro region. The full-scale war with russia has been going on for 1590 days already… too long; who could have thought or imagined that everything would turn out this way, and there are still so many unknown events ahead.
