ORGANIZED RETAIL CRIME ARREST! On March 28, 2026, LVMPD Organized Retail Crime (ORC) detectives launched an operation targeting individuals stealing high-value merchandise from retail stores. Detectives identified 49-year-old Roberto Fuentes, who was purchasing stolen items and reselling them online. On May 7, 2026, detectives served a search warrant at Fuentes’ residence. Inside, they recovered more than 900 stolen items, including jewelry, watches, tools, handbags, clothing, sunglasses, cosmetics, alcohol, and toys. The total recovered merchandise was valued at over $418,000, with assistance from loss prevention partners with the Nevada Organized Retail Crime Association. Fuentes was arrested booked into CCDC on charges including participation in an organized retail crime theft ring involving more than $10,000 and possession/receipt of stolen property over $100,000.
