Scientists estimate that enhanced weathering could scale to ~2–4 gigatons of carbon removal per year by 2050 (~40% of the projected global carbon removal portfolio). Lithos is setting the bar for what fast, responsible scale up of enhanced weathering looks like.

Lithos’ method of removing CO2 from the atmosphere doesn’t require breakthrough technology. Instead, it builds on existing agricultural practices and offers an opportunity for farmers to decrease their cost and increase their crop yield.
