On this snowy, remote learning day, we would like to wish our very own Mr. Slezak a happy early birthday. The age-defying Mr. Slezak is a great math teacher & football coach, and Wheaton North is lucky to have him.

Small changes, big impacts in the classroom part 1: Test Talk. For the first 5 minutes of a test, students put their writing utensils on the ground, I hand out the test, and students talk to each other about the test. Many have mentioned how much this lowers their test anxiety.
