@NotATeslaApp I do understand the HW3 cam have lowest quality but I don't understand why the system cannot be trained with the same Videos as AI4? My understanding is the training is not done in the car but on the servers than why the camera difference is such a deal ? 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Following future rollout of FSD V14 Lite for HW3 vehicles in the US, we plan on expanding V14 Lite to additional international markets. This update ensures that HW3 vehicle owners will continue to benefit from ongoing software updates. Since international rollout is subject to several factors (completion of technical verification, regional adaptation & relevant regulatory approvals), we can't provide definitive dates at the moment, but will provide updates on a rolling basis

Q: How will hardware 3 cars reach unsupervised FSD?
A: @elonmusk - HW3 simply does not have the capability to achieve FSD unsupervised. For customers that have bought FSD, offering discounted trade-in, and will offer upgrade to replace computer and cameras.
Will set up microfactories in major metropolitan areas to move this work from service centers and do it efficiently.

Ashok Elluswamy, VP of AI at Tesla says Tesla will be releasing a distilled version of V14 for HW3 customers by the end of June.
"People will be able to start the drives from park state, and basically have all the features that V14 HW4 has."

• Tesla will offer computer an upgrade, which includes new cameras.

@SawyerMerritt I don't care if HW3 never reached unsupervised but on the other hand, I hope it will be as good as V14. 3 for a supervised version. Just give me an amazing v14 supervised version for HW3 and I will be very happy 😁😁😁

NEWS: Elon Musk has confirmed that HW3 can't achieve Unsupervised FSD.
"For customers that have bought FSD on HW3, we are offing a discounted trade-in for cars that have AI4, and also offering the ability to upgrade the cars computer and cameras. We're going to have to set up micro factories in major metro areas. I do think over time it will make sense for us to convert all HW3 cars to HW4."

The official plan for HW3 (as of @Tesla's Q1 Call):
– V14 Lite is expected in June, which will include all major features currently available in V14.X.
– A hardware upgrade from HW3 to AI4 (Autopilot Computer and Cameras) will be available.
– And better trade-in offers.
