@kylelerner Yes, my FS was an AWD. I do enjoy the Beast more so, I got it with the Luxe Package, so free supercharging and FSD included for life, as well as a few other perks.

@AndyZeGerman No kidding! That’s i super good to know - I have been charging at the 240v@48a, I wonder if that expedited it. Was your FS AWD? My FS is AWD - are you enjoying the Cyberbeast that much more? Thanks, man!

I had a FS Cybertruck from June 2024 until November 2025 and then got a Cyberbeast. None of them had a PCS2 issue, I only charge with up to 24A anyway, every day. I believe that charging with 48A is the problem for the failure. That is not why I am using 24A, but more or less, because I don't need my Teslas to charge that fast. You also produce more heat in the wire, increase resistance and loss. Don't need to pay for hot cables. One of my Wall Chargers died after a few years, just because I tried to charge my FS CT with 48A for one night.

@ron_thelawyer @tesla_na Ron knows, but for anyone else reading, I live just north of Ron and my PCS just failed yesterday. Temecula Service Center is being oddly nonspecific about timelines for a part replacement.

Frustrated with Tesla Service right now. Scheduled Cybertruck repair for July 8 → promised ready by 7/10, then 7/13, then 7/14, now pushed to 7/16. (1/3)

@ron_thelawyer @tesla_na So bizarre - I’ve had Teslas for 10 years now and Service has always been amazing, it’s just odd that they’re so quiet and mysterious about the PCS issues.

@kylelerner Yeah. Original request went in late June 24th for a July 8th appointment. Just the multiple delays arent giving me a lot of confidence in the SC repairs (or the coordination of)

The Service Center can’t give me an ETA as to when the part is going to arrive, either.

@ron_thelawyer Ugh sorry man, that’s crazy. When did you originally put in the request? That’s crazy stuff.

@kylelerner Just delayed again 😢 thinking about taking it out of service and they can reach out once the parts are available to actually do the repair.

@kylelerner Same here, my CT has been stuck at Kearny Mesa SC waiting on parts (even though I let them know weeks in advance before I scheduled to come in what the issue was). They keep pushing the pickup date back with no solid ETA. Super frustrating.
