My goodness. So many emotions and details to unpack. My overriding feeling is the SPL title was not lost by Hearts in today’s game. It was lost with that outrageous VAR call for Celtic vs Motherwell. And I still don’t understand why there wasn’t more official pushback at the last fixture being ‘randomly’ Celtic home to Hearts. But ultimately it doesn’t matter now. Gutted for Hearts.

@The_Forty_Four Slowed a replayed the way var would. It looks to me honestly as if his arm is up but the ball goes past it makes contact with the head and the hand doesn’t make any movement with the ball at all. Multiple people are also correct to point out the throw in past the line.

We thought VAR & PGMOL were bad. Whether the ball did hit the Motherwell player's hand or not... They've just handed a potential title-deciding win, using one inconclusive angle and a 15 second monitor check. Absolutely diabolical from the Scottish officials. 😅

Seriously that is never a handball at Fir Park. The boy headed it 20 yards. The ref takes one look after VAR calls him over. Embarrassing for Scottish football.

This might be the worst VAR decision I’ve seen (and there’s a lot of competition). Extraordinary given the significance.
