خلال حواره مع "المجلس الأطلسي" سلّط معالي د. سلطان أحمد الجابر، رئيس مجلس إدارة "مصدر"، الضوء على أهمية توفير مصادر موثوقة ومستقرة وبتكلفة مناسبة لطاقة الحمل الأساسي، بما يسهم في تلبية احتياجات الذكاء الاصطناعي. نعمل في "مصدر" على توفير طاقة حمل أساسي نظيفة، من خلال مشروعنا للطاقة المتجددة على مدار الساعة الذي يعد الأكبر والأول من نوعه عالمياً. ويضم المشروع الذي يتم تطويره في أبوظبي محطة للطاقة الشمسية مزودة بنظم بطاريات لتخزين الطاقة ويوفر 1 جيجاواط من الكهرباء النظيفة بتعرفة تنافسية على مدار الساعة، كما يبرز أهمية الطاقة المتجددة في تعزيز منظومة الذكاء الاصطناعي.
