Let no one even deceive you or tell you any other nonsense! If your last name has links to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. it helps. If you are a Kennedy it helps. Obama’s girls will have doors opened because they have the right last name! If your parents made you no connects make them for yourself and your children. I make connections everyday because these things help. Go join Rotary and make meaningful connections. This nonsense of the world being fair is a fallacy! No or will make the world fair.

A prisoner has the right to a translator in court if they do not understand the language being used. This is part of the right to a fair trial under laws like the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights Under Article 14.
The court must provide an interpreter free of charge to ensure the accused can fully participate in the proceedings.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the mercy that refreshes like rain in harmattan.
Father, today, let us find favor with strangers. Not because we hustled harder but because Your hand is on us. Let someone give us a breakthrough without us even asking for it.
"So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?'… your heavenly Father knows that you need them." (Matthew 6:31-32)
Father, as You provided manna in the wilderness without a market nearby, provide for us supernaturally today. Through Christ our Lord, AMEN.

The applicant sought extension of time to file an application for leave to appear and defend, relying on section 98 of the Civil Procedure Act and relevant rules. The respondent raised a preliminary objection that the remedy sought was incompetent because a default judgment had already been entered on 18 October 2024, a decree extracted, costs taxed, and execution commenced; the correct procedure was to apply to set aside the default judgment under Order 36 Rule 11. The applicant contended the extension application had been filed before the default judgment and sought an opportunity to be heard. The court observed that a judgment remains enforceable unless it is set aside and that, in the absence of any application to set aside the default judgment, an application for extension of time to file leave to appear and defend is procedurally incompetent. The application was therefore struck out and costs were awarded to the respondent.

Being compensated for your intellect is among the highest positions a person can occupy. If thinking is what earns your income, treat that privilege with the weight it deserves. Very few people across human history have ever lived this way. The generations before you would marvel at where you have arrived.
