Girls Varsity Basketball kicks off the winter season as they host highly rated St. John Paul tonight at 6:30.

Please note that the varsity girls basketball game against Middleborough has been moved from Tuesday, December 23 to Monday, December 22 will be a 5:30 start

A pair of all-stars — Lexi Gomes (Class of 2028; @UpperCapeAD) & Alanna McDonald (Class of 2029; @MashpeeAthletic) — formed an awesome partnership in the gym and seem to both be finding their grooves as we approach the midway point of Spring. All athletes are attaining new levels of strength and pushing themselves beyond previously-perceived limits on conditioning pieces (a spicy rowing/ski-erg combination tonight). Excited to see which athletes emerge from the pack in the coming weeks! 💙🧡💪

New additions making major contributions. Alanna McDonald (Class of 2029; @MashpeeAthletic) was like a ball-handling bulldozer as she repeatedly attacked the basket with reckless abandon. Rylie Johnson (Class of 2027; @DYGirlsBall) provided infectious energy with her unique combination of smiling and hustling — instrumental in two winning scrimmage efforts tonight. And Savannah Belair (Class of 2030; @Nausetsports) was electric in the Rising Stars session, including a game-winning three-pointer to end it. Our program has always been at its best when we’re receiving contributions from a wide array of players. 💙🧡
