⛽️Diesel! A fueled-up @EmmaAyer2029 (Class of 2029; @MonomoySharks) is building a physical profile to match her premium-grade on-court skill set. In her first varsity season, Emma established Swish program records for an 8th Grader in all official statistical categories — namely, points (61), three-pointers (8), and free-throw percentage (66% (19-29)). The two-time All-Swish point guard played in 17 contests and earned her first career start in the regular season finale at Barnstable. A top-of-the-program Spring would follow where Emma pushed her game and body to new levels in training while emerging as a reliable — and oftentimes explosive — scorer on the regional tournament circuit. She continues to develop as a leader and has embraced her role as a program representative. Emma has been performing strength & conditioning workouts on Monday evenings this Summer with an emphasis on power production. Her format includes violent ball-slams, heavy deadlifts, single-leg squats, overhead pressing, farmer’s carries, and nasty conditioning pieces on the bike. Some newfound biceps have even been on display during recent summer league games! The result has been an even more confident player capable of withstanding physicality and fully expressing her skills. The needle is pointing towards “full” entering her freshman season. 💙🧡💪

😤All the smoke! Reigning Swish Most Valuable Player @EmmaAyer2029 (Class of 2029; @MonomoySharks) returns to headline this Summer’s premier training group. Emma is a virtual lock to earn her fifth consecutive All-Swish selection this Spring and is a top contender for her second consecutive Most Valuable Player Award. She has emerged as the most lethal offensive weapon for the program’s top competition team by averaging double-figures across all tournament and scrimmage opportunities — continued growth in ball-handling, finishing, shooting, fitness, and IQ. A heavy competitive workload will give way to a summer format more focused on strength & conditioning and speed & agility while obviously also competing with the program’s top team during any scrimmage opportunities with local programs. A goal without a plan is just a wish — Emma will most definitely have the detailed plan to make her lofty goals a reality. 💙🧡💨

😤We want it to be challenging. We want the weights to be heavy and the turf to be hot. We want on-court drills to push us beyond our previously-perceived limits. We want to scrimmage the best teams and players available. We want “all the smoke” this Summer . . . because we know it’s truest way to develop. June 22nd through August 20th — this Summer’s 9-week program will feature our patented blend of weekly strength & conditioning, outdoors speed & agility, and on-court skill development. A limited number of individual training slots will be allocated for the program’s most highly motivated players — there will also be supplemental on-court and fitness offers for those players seeking to turbo-charge their progress. We will invite any and all local programs and organizations to scrimmage. Do you want “all the smoke” this Summer?  If so, then please contact immediately to be considered. 💙🧡💨

The momentum continued in tonight’s scrimmage with Team Sims. 6-foot forward Elyse Sharpe (Class of 2027; Falmouth Academy) scored a team-high 22 points while burying 4 three-pointers and shooting 4-5 from the free-throw line. Reigning Swish Most Valuable Player @EmmaAyer2029 (Class of 2029; @MonomoySharks) added 20 points while burying a pair of three-pointers, shooting a perfect 2-2 from the free-throw line, and shouldering primary ball-handling responsibilities. Meghan Conlon (Class of 2027; Sturgis East) rounded out the double-figure scorers with 12 points and relentless activity on the glass. Outstanding effort by the players to push through some fatigue after performing a training session prior to the scrimmage. A shorthanded — but still dangerous — team will turn its attention to Saturday’s Behn Hurricane’s “World Cup” event. Incredible opportunity to step up! 💙🧡

😤All the smoke! Stella Greer (Class of 2029; Sturgis West) returns to compete amongst this Summer’s premier training group. Stella has emerged as a key contributor and long-range shooting threat for the “Orange” competition team this Spring — also displaying a willingness to compete on the boards and for loose-balls. She produced an impressive showing during mid-term fitness testing and will use the summer months to target improvements in the speed & agility realm. Stella is a leading contender for this Spring’s Most Improved Player Award and further development this Summer will move her closer to her goal of earning a starting spot on her school team next season! 💙🧡💨

😤All the smoke! All-Swish shooting guard @NoraRodes (Class of 2028; @JPII_Athletics) returns to compete amongst this Summer’s premier training group. Nora has emerged as a key rotational cog on the program’s top competition team this Spring with her outside shooting prowess and maniacal ability to repeatedly race up and down the court. She places in the upper echelon of all fitness-related tests and loves to add speed & agility to her weekly format during the Summer months. Nora is also likely to compete with the program’s top team during any scrimmage opportunities with local programs. A goal of earning a starting spot at the varsity level during her upcoming junior season feels very much within reach! 💙🧡💨

No sleep? No leading scorer? No space in the corners of the court between the three-point line and the sideline? No problem! The Swish “Navy” Competition Team navigated some unusual circumstances to run its winning streak to 10 consecutive games during the Zero Gravity “Mother’s Day Classic” — and now the program braces for its most formidable challenges of the Spring. On Saturday morning, the indestructible Audrey Anderson (Class of 2029; @Swich_Athletics) provided another impactful two-way effort across the two-game slate. The freshman guard continues to be the defensive tone-setter with her full-court pressure and desire to always guard the opposing team’s toughest scoring threat. In the first game, 13-year-old Swish monster-guard @StellaRose2031 (Class of 2031; @MonomoySharks) delivered a team-high 15 points with 4 three-pointers to earn Zero Gravity’s “Player of the Game” distinction. And in the second game, 6-foot forward Elyse Sharpe (Class of 2028; Falmouth Academy) produced a team-high 15 points along with 9 rebounds and a blocked shot. Scoring from Stella and Elyse was of particular importance in this event as an 8:00 start contributed to some sloppy play along with an oddly-shaped court that led to nine separate instances where our players simply stepped out of bounds. Yet the program was grateful for the opportunity to compete against reputable organizations in the Behn Hurricanes and Plymouth United. The stakes rise this-coming week as we welcome a powerful Team Sims unit for an exhibition game on Thursday followed by two games on Saturday afternoon against the Worcester Sting during the Behn Hurricane’s World Cup event. The “Navy” Competition Team has earned placement in the tournament’s top varsity division and will need to raise its collective level of play in order to maintain the current winning steak. Always up for the challenge! 💙🧡

😤All the smoke! A virtual lock for her first career All-Swish selection and a contender for this Spring’s Most Valuable Player Award — 6-foot forward Elyse Sharpe (Class of 2027; Falmouth Academy) returns to headline this Summer’s premier training group. Elyse has emerged as one of the program’s most impactful performers this Spring as an unprecedented two-way threat for the top competition team. She leads the program in rebounding and blocked shots while averaging double-figures and spacing the floor with her knockdown shooting ability. Elyse will add speed & agility to her weekly format by competing out on the turf this Summer while also competing with the program’s top team during any scrimmage opportunities with local programs. A goal of playing at the college level is very much within reach if Elyse continues along her present track. 💙🧡💨

The final 30 days of Spring provide ample time to make additional games. However, the athletes must arrive with energy and focus and be truly willing to push themselves. @NoraRodes (Class of 2028; @JPII_Athletics) checked all those boxes tonight and may now be the program’s fittest overall athlete. She’s up to the 62-pound kettlebell for swing and the 70-pound dumbbell for goblet squats. Her rowing was so fast that it felt like she was in her own separate race. The program also received a boost with the addition of @Jstreitmatter3 (Sophomore; @Mitchell_WBB) as the five-time All-Swish shooting guard and former three-time Swish Most Valuable Player joins for the final five weeks of the Spring program. Never a dull day at Swish! 🧡💙💪

😤All the smoke! @Savannah_Belair (Class of 2030; Cape Cod Tech) returns to compete amongst this Summer’s premier training group. The 8th Grade shooting guard has played an integral role on the program’s top competition team this Spring by providing reliable ball-handling and outside shooting. Savannah has impacted winning despite playing against competition several years older than her. One of the program’s strongest overall athletes in the gym, Savannah is expected to be a force out on the turf again this Summer with her blazing speed while competing with the program’s top team during any scrimmage opportunities with local programs. A first career varsity-level season awaits in a little over six months and there’s no doubt that Savannah will be prepared to thrive. 💙🧡💨

😤All the smoke! Swish forward Meghan Conlon (Class of 2027; Sturgis East) returns to compete amongst this Summer’s premier training group. “Big Meg” has played an integral role on the program’s top competition team this Spring by providing interior scrappiness and toughness alongside a slew of long-range bombers. Her ability to operate out of the “dunker spot” on the court has unlocked optimal spacing — Meghan has also joined the shooting party and is finishing with better consistency around the basket. One of the program’s strongest and fittest overall athletes, Meghan is excited to improve her speed out on the turf again this Summer while competing with the program’s top team during any scrimmage opportunities with local programs. A dream to play at the college level is becoming more and more of a reality. 💙🧡💨

👏13-year-old Swish monster guard @StellaRose2031 (Class of 2031; @MonomoySharks) delivered 15 points and 4 three-pointers (“Rose Rockets”) in this morning’s game against the Behn Hurricanes. The 7th Grader earned a spot in the starting lineup for our premier competition team and has emerged as one of the program’s top three overall scorers this Spring with her ability to shoot from the outside and attack the rim. Stella received Zero Gravity’s “Player of the Game” distinction and continues to emerge as one of the program’s top representatives. 💙🧡

😤All the smoke! Swish has crossed Nantucket Sound to locate its next forward as we welcome Roni Vasquez (Class of 2030; @nhswhalers) to this Summer’s premier training group. Roni will be preparing for her first upcoming varsity-level season and provides length and athleticism to the Swish front-court — an area of importance with so many young playmakers and shot-makers already in the mix. She fits perfectly within the program’s current timeline as similarly-aged players in the program are already impacting at the varsity level and on the regional competition scene. Roni has been taking advantage of as many training opportunities as possible this Spring and has shown her immense potential while jiving awesomely with the group. Set sail for an awesome Summer! 💙🧡💨

🏆They may be small, but they pack a big punch! The Swish “Upstarts 2” Competition Team continued its awesome improvement to claim its first Championship in last weekend’s Behn Hurricanes Moolah Madness. This competition team is comprised of players from our Tuesday evening training group with representatives from Barnstable, Dennis-Yarmouth, Bourne, and Monomoy. This particular tournament was held at Weymouth High School and the players were fortunate to compete against formidable competition in the Behn Hurricanes. The players continues to improve each and every time they take the court as they gain skills, intelligence, and confidence! Spring sports, dance recitals, holidays weekends, and family trips are complicating plans for additional tournaments this Spring; however, the program is seeking to enter the players in at least one additional event in the coming weeks while also inviting several other local organizations to scrimmage. And the core of this group has already committed to return for Summer! 💙🧡

Week 7 is in the books, but the jockeying for this Spring’s top awards is ramping up. Reigning Swish Most Valuable Player @EmmaAyer2029 (Class of 2029; @MonomoySharks) was devastating in the paint prompting our assistant coach to ask: “Emma: are you our five?” The four-time All-Swish point guard also buried deep shots and delivered a series of kick-out and dump-off passes to teammates for scores. 6-foot forward Elyse Sharpe (Class of 2027; Falmouth Academy) was one of the kick-out pass recipients and buried some killer three-pointers. And Stella Greer (Class of 2029; Sturgis East) delivered timely shots while providing great energy and focus throughout the entire session. Our “Navy” competition team resumes play on Saturday morning in Zero Gravity’s “Mother’s Day Classic.” 💙🧡

😤All the smoke! 13-year-old Swish monster guard @StellaRose2031 (Class of 2031; @MonomoySharks) returns to compete amongst this Summer’s premier training group. Stella has emerged as one of the program’s most potent offensive weapons — one of the top three or four overall scorers — on the regional competition scene with her outside shooting ability and creative jab-step package. Her ability to space the floor has also unlocked driving lanes for the program’s top playmakers. The 7th Grader become one of the program’s fittest athletes in the strength & conditioning realm and will seek to improve her speed & agility out on the turf this Summer. Competing on the program’s top team during any scrimmage opportunities with local programs — there’s no telling just how good Stella will be by Summer’s end! 💙🧡💨

😤All the smoke! 13-year-old Swish point guard @AvaShaw1119 (Class of 2030; @Swich_Athletics) returns to headline this Summer’s premier training group. A bulldozer with handles — Ava has emerged as the lead conductor of the potent Swish drive-and-kick offense on the regional competition scene. Her electric crossover dribble has created her own offense as well as shooting opportunities for so many teammates. Outdoors speed & agility will provide another outlet for Ava to display her elite athleticism. The program will be in good hands with Ava handling the basketball during any scrimmage opportunities with local programs. A first All-Swish selection likely awaits at the end of Spring and it’ll be exciting to watch Ava push advance even further this Summer! 💙🧡💨
