You have a fundamental misunderstanding of the christian faith if that is how you feel. All sex outside of marriage is a sin. Same sex attraction, just having those feelings, it isnt a sin. Feeding into them is. The same as it would be for a heterosexual with anyone other than their wife. You also dont understand what sin is. Sin is essentially any action that puts distance between you and god. Distance between you and his plan for you. Thats why the price of sin is death. No god, no life. We were designed to be fruitful and multiply. The pleasure in sex, its a gift, intended for those being fruitful. Homosexuality takes the gift without following the command. That is why it is such anathema to God. What is not a sin, is caring for someone, being there for them, all the aspects of fidelity. Im as much a sinner as anyone who has had homosexual intercourse. All sex outside of marriage is sin. Yet, any of them can get into heaven with the saving grace of christ. But to follow christ, that means you need to change your ways and shut the sin out. It isnt going to be an off switch. Its a struggle for everyone, whatever their sin is. But to accept christ’s gift is to begin working towards being in line with God’s plan. To hate sin. And you cant be an active homosexual and do that. Dont make your sin your identity.

I would say my confusion is a solid ten... Still waiting for someone to save me.
