@jonwsly6 Hey I questioned that too, basically said we chose Bolton over McDuffie (and that was before the CB market totally exploded). Karlaftis was a desperate move and I at least understood that a tiny bit. Paying Bolton was always going to be a disaster.

@Nate_Knows_Ball draft again (Edge/WR). If the players we passed up on are all busts then fine, but we’ve shown we don’t pay 2nd contracts to CBs (unless MAYBE they’re PS2 level)

@Nate_Knows_Ball We have shown to develop day 3 CBs into pro bowl or fringe pro bowl caliber players on a regular basis, it’s literally the one thing we do well. In a vacuum that pick NEEDED to go towards an excellent player at a premium position that they will likely never be in position (1/2)

Would love to see KC snag Rockhurst alum TE John Michael Gyllenborg with their last pick. High school basketball player who only played football his senior year — just 3 games due to Covid/injuries. Dealt with more injuries and spotty QB play in college. Still learning the position. But a stupid good athlete who made @BruceFeldmanCFB’s Freaks List. 21.6 mph GPS speed! My favorite offensive sleeper in this entire class. A low-risk gamble with a ton of upside this late in the draft.

Elijah Sarratt or Bryce Lance moving the needle at 109 for the offense? I kinda like them but not like they’re taking the reins as WR1. Almost wonder if you take McCoy if the Chiefs are higher on his medicals than most and we just have a lockdown defense like crazy.
