Itamar Ben Gvir's conduct as Israel's National Security Minister has long been detrimental to Israel’s national interests and its international standing. Given the recent findings by Israel's Public Defender of widespread torture and abuse of detainees in Israel's prisons, which Ben Gvir should never have been given authority over in the first place, he should be removed from office immediately.
