@SLBiggieee @utdrobbo This isn’t a good tweet, Middlesbrough under Carrick between 2022-2025, ranked 2nd in average possession (55.2%), 1st overall in passing volume and 2nd overall in controlled attacks. The way we play is not how Carrick wants to play football but he is doing what he needs to do.

Took over Middlesbrough when they were 21st and lead them to a 4th place finish, unfortunately crashed out in the play offs.
Got to the semi final of the league cup in his second year and finished 8th.
Club then didn’t back him and sold their best players and then sacked him.
