I agree that some who support Afriforum might have had romantic notions that external pressure might change something, but there is no rational way in which our capacity to implement or enforce laws could be affected by any EO. Diplomatic (which can include the customary Trump crudeness) pressure cannot be said to automated our laws. Point 3 says anything that threatens that independence/ ability to be is treasonous. How are AfriForum’s actions not fitting here?
