@caesarionism @philcraig2 Afrikaans people can freely take up Trump’s offer to go create their own republic in the US. This nonsense you’re talking about won’t happen here in South Africa, not again!

1/ Stellenbosch University should be an Afrikaans University with an Afrikaans speaking Chancellor
South Africa habitually tramples on minority rights and Stellenbosch University is our Government’s poster child for intolerance and a lack of respect

"President Trump, please send ships, not planes," say many Afrikaners.
As the 4th group of Afrikaners prepare to be evacuated to the USA, tens of thousands of desperate Afrikaners await their turn to flee the country of their birth. They fear that their turn may never come at the rate of 50-60 airplane passengers per group.
It is estimated that over 200,000 Afrikaners (and other SA whites) have petitioned the US Embassy in South Africa for refugee status.
Orania's response to the offer remains rather "help us here!"

@RiebvJanbeeck Not like they colonised and then created apartheid. It can’t be that surely

@GarethCliff @elonmusk This level of dick-riding should be illegal

Saving the world, yet again, @elonmusk - and yet there are people who criticise him, who have done nothing even remotely remarkable - and who imagine, in their fever dreams that they're in a position to say he's stupid or evil. Mind-blowing.

@Volkstaat10 Go establish that nonsense in Holland where you descend from. You can also try the USA and Australia

I would like to thank the racist @afriforum and its constituency for uniting the natives.
We haven’t been talking much about how to move forward as a people, but now you have made us to take that conversation seriously

A sane government would have never allowed that Orania nonsense to begin with, buka manje

[WATCH] "We cannot go back to Europe. We do not belong in Europe, we belong in Africa," head of the Orania Movement Joost Strydom says. 'Afrikaners' want to be recognised as people who are only at home in Africa and are not interested in dollars and handouts from President Donald Trump. #Newzroom405

@atkinsmike1 @mncedisinhlapo @SizweLo I support any team that plays against Chelsea, with the exception of Man United
English

I agree that some who support Afriforum might have had romantic notions that external pressure might change something, but there is no rational way in which our capacity to implement or enforce laws could be affected by any EO.
Diplomatic (which can include the customary Trump crudeness) pressure cannot be said to automated our laws.
This is a rather large stretch
[And now I am going to sign out and hope that my team can overcome Brighton.]
English

@atkinsmike1 @mncedisinhlapo @SizweLo What do you mean? The USA’s actions are a direct result of continuous lobbying by AfriForum, there’s evidence of that.
Even now they are saying they are going back to Trump to ask for support in their pursuit for a boer republic. How is that not point 3.
English

@atkinsmike1 @mncedisinhlapo @SizweLo Surely, the independence of the republic includes its ability to implement laws and policies, else that country is not a sovereign nation.
Point 3 says anything that threatens that independence/ ability to be is treasonous. How are AfriForum’s actions not fitting here?
English

@MatMathanzima @mncedisinhlapo @SizweLo For instance, co-operating with a foreign power to cause South Africa to abandon our Constitution in favour of direct external rule. Or, causing such internal chaos that our Constitution can no longer be held to be in force.
English

@mncedisinhlapo @MatMathanzima @SizweLo I do not share your assessment of point three, or of there being something fundamentally wrong with me.
