@HumieArt Tbh on my patreon I was offering a free comm every month ( choosing from a roaster of already created characters, but I allowed adjustments ). And after checking the market I know how underpriced I really was.

I am sick of seeing artist undercharging themselves. I am a freelance artist - And I was there too, charging 2$-8$ per hour for a drawing that takes 2-8h: so I KNOW. It's okay to start small, but it's not good to continue doing it - when you improved. Bad thing is: You will only attract people who want cheap art, and even people who don't respect the value of your time and effort.😔 please study the market rate for an artist / illustrator / live2d vtuber rigger / anything before saying I am wrong. ➡️ Search on google or anything : how much (insert your kind of artwork) artists should be paid ? + insert the name of the market you are targeting (your country / the USD / Europe....) You will be SHOCKED, I swear. I hope you will get it, soon - since it's not always easy to CHANGE your MINDSET. ‼️IMPORTANT NOTES: it hurts the market too : fellow artists who saw your low prices will think that this kind of pricing is normal - when IT IS NOT.... and they will want to match / be lower than your you.... and the cycle willl never end😢 Good luck!🍀

@ijiOwO When i found out that some artists usually take months to finish an artwork commission i was baffled like i understand people have lives and they're busy with other stuff but months??? What??? Shouldn't it be just weeks? Wth??

When you find an artist you want to c0mm: - DMs off - DM with no response ever - No links in bio, impossible to find - The heart shattering "I don't do comms" - "Become verified to message this person" - "C0mms closed" every single time you look and the final boss - "NO OC's!"
