@MurphyPat42648 @TheoLawson_SR Take a look at their commits thus far. The Zags will be fine. Dismal? Uninformed evaluation.

@TheoLawson_SR I am a Gonzaga fan, with relatives in Spokane, but if Gonzaga is recruiting any viable players, say their names, I see no 4 and 5 star players, and just speculation. It will be a dismal year for the bulldogs, unless some real recruiting occurs. I see none now.

Backup center Ismaila Diagne becomes the fifth #Gonzaga player to enter the transfer portal. As of now, only three rotation players are returning to Zags in 2026-27: Braden Huff, Mario Saint-Supery, Davis Fogle.

Final Four-bound Tommy Lloyd discussing mentor Mark Few’s Hall of Fame induction. Few was walking barefoot in #Gonzaga’s weight room 5 yrs. ago when Lloyd told him he was taking the #Arizona job.
Few to Lloyd: “Who would’ve thought when we started this deal we would’ve lost two national championship games and Arizona would be hiring Gonzaga’s assistant.”

BREAKING—Mark Few has been voted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, sources told @CBSSports. Few, 63, built a one-of-a-kind story at Gonzaga, turning a small Jesuit school into one of the biggest brands in CBB. Two NCAA title games, 773-156 record, 44 league titles + more

The best part about Gonzaga is the optimism. Zags fans are feeling it right now because we lost to a good Texas team. Remember that little stat that we have not lost in the first round since 2008? 32 teams feel that gut-punch every year. We have not felt it for 17 years.
We have some great recruits coming in Jack Kayil, Luka Foster, Sam Funches (and 2027 #19 247 Dooney Johnson). We have a rising star in Davis Fogle. Does anyone think that Mario Saint-Supéry won't get All-American mentions? Braden Huff will for sure be on the pre-season list for the Kareem Abdul Jabbar award. Sure, there's some things to figure out, but I have confidence the staff will do it.
We are headed to a new league. I can't wait to go to the away games. Those environments will be raucous and Gonzaga will be enemy #1, why? Because we are always good and sometimes great.
Keep that optimism, Zags fans. Enjoy that off-season. Next year is going to be fun.
