@teachbk Prioritize family time. You don't get this time back! Email or send a note to the teachers telling them why. They will understand. The only exception to this might be some HS coursework, depending on the courses they signed up for AP/IB.

I can’t take my kids out today because they have too much homework. This is a regular occurrence on weekends. Nights are also booked around assignments. Homework is a thief of family time.

Job interview tomorrow. I'm nervous!

@alicekeeler You will land where you are supposed to land. If they don't appreciate what you had to offer them, someone else will. Do you get to interview the group you will be working with? To see if it is a good fit? I did that in a previous position when they offered me the job.

During my interview for a math teacher position I busted out an ELA lesson I built. Good teaching is good teaching. Fingers crossed this works out.
