@MathMath901 I like how it simplifies as you repeatedly square both sides. You get 1+2*(2^n)*sqrt(x)=3, or x = 4^(-n).
English

@MathMath901 I have not proven it, but by the basic problem solving strategy of computing a few specific examples to observe a pattern we have x_n = 1/4^n, for all n = 0, 1 , 2, ...

English

@MathMath901 Step 4): if x>3 then (3-x) is negative => you must change > to <

Vix.cpp is getting closer to the kind of developer experience I always wanted for building native applications.
Create the project, build it, run it, and focus on the product instead of fighting the setup.

@MathMath901 @MicKowal @geogebra Before they were bought they sometimes commented some post or liked it, but now neither.

@MathMath901 As 5<k<6, k = 5 + (45 - α/3°)/60 = 5+3/4-α/180° = 6-α/30°
1/4 =(6-1)*α/180° = 5α/180° = α/36°
α = 9°, t = 45-α/3° = 45-9/3 = 45-3 = 42
It is 5:42 or 17:42 (b/c the clock is based on the 12-hour system)

@MathMath901 Define the rectangle as the function f and the circle as the function g.
f(x-1)=x-5, g(f(f(x+5)))=x-2
f(x-1)=x-5=(x-1)-4, so f(x)=x-4
f(f(x+5)) = f(x+1) = x-3
g(x-3) = x-2 = x-3 +1
g(x) = x +1
g(2002) = 2003

@MathMath901 @MicKowal Yes, @geogebra , but I tagged them only sometimes because they don’t appreciate to be mentioned since they were bought.
