@DsuCo_ @norstar7620x Most likely you won’t know your team until the morning of the tournament. There’s a handful of players that might not know they are able to make it until the week of depending on certain situations. It will be a weird experience.

@Mathmagic10 @norstar7620x Definitely, my concern is how you know the players qualified from the TPC circuit. But we have a full year until we can be concerned. As for if a team-format is balanced... Well it has never been. Its like asking to balance solo players. But thats a fair comment

I don't understand the backlash on this decision. Many of us compete in team formats during grassroots tournaments. Whether it is ArenaLegendaria, Battle Frontier, Gymbreakers, Silph Arena Factions and many more. We don't know about the details, but some side events will 1/3

NOTHING about this makes sense. I can't believe they dropped this and didn't explain it at all. This has the potential to kill the GO play pokemon scene, we deserve to know why.

@DsuCo_ @norstar7620x if people had to form their own teams, this would be a disadvantage to lesser known players or players from outside of NA/EU/LATAM and push away newly qualified players. If it was random, you’ll be dependent on a stranger. Both of which are different from past faction formats.

@hooplikeagod @Jumpman_Germ Going to the line would’ve eaten a few seconds at the most which is what they needed to do. There’s no reason to score when you’re up with secs left. Let the other team foul you. And waste time doing it. The point is not to score more and widen the gap. The point is to waste time

@Jumpman_Germ Apparently I standalone in feeling like it wasn't a bad decision, it just didn't work. The options were score an easy lay to require a Knicks 3, or go to the line and possibly still only be up 1 bc they all were shooting like ass. The layup seemed low pressure and low risk.
