Five individuals met an untimely end in Kruger National Park after being shot by rangers while engaged in an unsanctioned rhino horn Poaching. The gentlemen had already successfully shot down two rhinos and were in the process of harvesting the horn from one when they themselves were abruptly "harvested" by the park's anti-poaching unit.

This morning, I shared a post on this platform condemning the tribalism of Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma, who masquerades as a fighter against illegal immigration while pushing xenophobic, Afrophobic and tribalist messages. A lot of her supporters came to my wall to defend her, saying she was young when she posted those things. I do not understand what they mean by young, because Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma is 39 years old, with biographies published this year listing her date of birth as 6 July 1986. They also say those posts were made a while ago. But even if you go back to 2014, she would already have been 27 turning 28 that year. That is not a child. That is not someone too young to understand the meaning of what they are saying. That is an adult who knew exactly what she was doing. And here she is again, just two weeks ago, singing along while insulting the Shangaan ethnic group of South Africa. These are not foreign nationals. She is insulting her own fellow compatriots, fellow South Africans. So this nonsense about youth and old posts does not wash. It is a pattern. She is a tribalist. You can say anything you want, but she is a tribalist. Tribalism should never, ever be defended by anyone with common sense. It is a tool that was used against us as black people on this continent by colonialists and by those who sought to divide African communities. I do not condone illegalities at all. I, just like General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, am opposed to vigilante groups that go around harassing people and demanding proof of immigration status. That is not their job. It is the responsibility of the South African Police Service and the country’s immigration authorities, not random groups taking the law into their own hands. It is dangerous and unacceptable. Once we start allowing people to insult others on the basis of their ethnicity, we are going down a terrible road, one that will tear communities apart. And people like Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma should be condemned in the strongest terms for promoting that kind of division. We have terrible examples on this continent where tribalism was weaponised. In Rwanda, during the 1994 genocide, approximately 800,000 Tutsis and moderate Hutus were massacred in about 100 days because of extremists who used ethnic identity to divide people and gain political power. I urge all Africans, particularly South Africans who have common sense, not to accept this kind of divisive behaviour by people like Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma. Such conduct is poisonous to any society and brings nothing but division. It started with attacks on Zimbabweans and Nigerians, and now it has extended to insulting fellow South African citizens. We have even seen cases where a Venda person was beaten simply for not being able to speak Zulu. That is tribalism, plain and simple. Is that the South Africa you want.

Just like corruption, barbaric violence and mob justice are sustained by impunity. When there are no consequences, these acts reproduce themselves and become normalised. The tragedy is that the authorities often benefit from this climate. It diverts attention away from their failure to confront the deep structural crisis of unemployment, poverty and inequality. Instead of accountability, the anger of the poor is misdirected, turned inward against migrants and other vulnerable groups, while the real sources of the crisis remain untouched

Salute to the EFF for demanding the strict application of Section 29 of the Immigration Act. 🇿🇦 The hypocrisy of these self-proclaimed "patriots" is staggering. They spend every day obsessing over undocumented neighbors, yet roll out the red carpet for racists and extremists whose members have been caught on record praising Hitler and joking about gas chambers. If your "patriotism" is loud against poor Africans but silent when literal white supremacist affiliates try to enter our borders, you aren’t protecting South Africa, you’re just a paid xenophobe doing the dirty work of foreign extremists.. You don't get to lecture us on the "rule of law" while defending the entry of those who view our people as "monkeys." Law for all, or no law at all. Stop the double standards.

Claiming South Africa has 27 million illegal immigrants isn't just a mistake, it’s a dangerous, calculated fiction. According to the Census, the entire population is roughly 62 million, a 27 million figure would mean nearly 44% of the country is undocumented. That’s not just a lie, it’s a mathematical impossibility. 🇿🇦 It is pathetic to see @MacGUnleashed and @SolPhenduka sit there nodding like bobbleheads while their platform is used to vomit 10x inflated numbers fueled by xenophobia. Influential hosts have a duty to challenge "facts" that don't add up, but #PodcastAndChill has traded its credibility for a silent green light to misinformation. Official Stats SA data puts the total foreign-born population (legal and undocumented) at approximately 2.4 million. Inflating that by over 20 million is a classic propaganda tactic cooked up for a specific agenda. This platform has officially transitioned from "chilling" to a propaganda machine for hire. #StatsSA. #FactCheck. #StopTheLies.
Unathi Afrika@UnathiAfrika

For example, the entire "illegal foreigners" campaign is based on a lie that there are 27 million "illegal foreigners" in the country, which would be about 42% of the population, when in reality the immigrant population is only 4%.

This shows he was not a victim of random crime. There are groups in SA inciting hate towards foreigners. Issac's murder was primeditated. A group of xenophobes planned to murder foreign e-hailing drivers. They called Bolt with intention to kill the driver if he was a foreigner

[BREAKING NEWS] Three more suspects have been arrested for killing e-hailing driver Isaac Satlat. Satlat was allegedly hijacked and killed last week. Tune into #Newzroom405 for more.
