Year 4 tackled short division this week. Lots of time spent exploring what ‘sharing’ and ‘grouping’ means. Tricky concepts to understand and use. Year 4 persevered, collaborated and used manipulatives to explain their thinking. 👏👏#OUPPrimary #Numicon

Year 4 are working on becoming fluent with short written multiplication. Using manipulatives builds a deeper understanding of the concept, this leads to and supports fluency. Well done Year 4 . Division next 👏👏
