DEVELOPING: Rep. Phil Skaggs (D-80) of East Grand Rapids is being accused of threatening a fellow Democrat for running in Michigan’s D-29 state senate race.
Abbie Groff-Blaszak publicized private text messages with Skaggs, where he warned, “The deadline is 4pm tomorrow, I hope you’ll think really carefully about it.”
Blaszak states, “This is not the first time that Phil has attempted to use intimidation to get me to drop out of a race.”
