@MatsuNuclear @ChrisMartzWX Yea its def to manipulate that part of the atmosphere to steer weather and keep the sky saturated. Military uses it for radar, satellites, defense, lasers, comms. They all need that medium to be effective. Night time hides them from IR and lacks solar radiation.

If condensation trails never existed prior to 20 years ago, then why are there photos of them dating back to 1940?
There are more contrails in the sky now because there is a lot more air traffic. But they aren’t a new phenomenon.

@b_gimpl1234 @ChrisMartzWX 🎯 Also air traffic hasn’t increased that much in the last 20-30 years. It’s difficult to research as the numbers mainly refer to total passengers not number of planes in the sky. Add to that how passenger capacity has increased on every plane in the sky.

@ChrisMartzWX They did exist, because they've been spraying for many decades. They just didnt fill the sky, expand and block the sun like now. A plane leaving a little "exhaust" is different from lingering, well defined crisscrossing lines. Otherwise people wouldn't notice.
