The newest form of blackmail against businesses involves people claiming to be social media influencers who expect businesses to cater to their every need. Individuals who falsely claim to be “influencers” to demand free goods or special treatment—a behavior often called “clout-chasing”—frequently exploit threats of negative online reviews or public shaming to bully small businesses. This entitlement often leads to worker harassment and disruptive behavior in stores or restaurants. Have you dealt with these kinds of people before?

If he was paraplegic his car would have had modifications for him to use - he should have pointed the cops to those. He should have has his wheel chair with him, and he should have had his son in a child seat. When you have so many blacks lying and scheming and breaking all the rules, you have to expect mistakes. Be better black people.

Police ass@ult 78 year old man claiming he was trespassing on his own property. Ogden City Police officers in Utah responded to a report of potential trespassers at a residence suspected of being under foreclosure. When officers arrived on the scene, they encountered 78-year-old Rand Briem and his 74-year-old wife, Vera, sitting in their vehicle in the driveway. What should have been a routine verification check quickly escalated into a high-stakes civil rights debate and a physical struggle. From the start of the interaction, Mr. Briem vehemently maintained that he was the legal owner of the property. He explained to the responding officers that the home was absolutely not in foreclosure. While a "non-occupancy" notice had been posted on the property, Briem clarified that it applied strictly to a contaminated basement unit—not the main residence. As tensions flared, officers informed Briem that he was being legally detained until they could confirm his identity. The critical turning point occurred when Briem attempted to show his identification. Holding his card out, he stated, "I will show you my driver's license, I will not give it to you." When an officer pulled the card completely from his hand, Briem instinctively reached back out to reclaim it. Officers immediately perceived this movement as a threat and went hands on with the 78-year-old man. The process of taking the him into custody left the elderly resident with injuries. Though Briem was initially issued a misdemeanor citation for interfering with an officer, his family took the matter to the federal courts. The Briems filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against Ogden City and the responding officers, alleging an excessive and unjustified use of force. The Department's Stance: The Ogden Police Department defended the officers' actions, stating that an internal review cleared the staff and deemed the use of force necessary given the subject's non-compliance. The Plaintiff's Argument: Briem’s legal team argued that while his client may have been verbally uncooperative, rudeness or an instinctive reach does not legally justify a physical actions on an elderly citizen. After nearly a year in court, the federal civil rights case (Briem et al v. Genovesse et al) officially came to a close. The court filed a Stipulated Motion and Notice of Dismissal With Prejudice, meaning the case has been permanently resolved out of court and cannot be refilled. In short this mean a settlement was reached of an undisclosed amount. This is once again tax dollars being used to bail out actions of officers. The worst part is, the department stands behind the action of the officers and no disciplinary actions were taken.

It's hard to imagine a world without body cams and dash cams, however it honestly was not that long ago that this was the case. Even with them in place where officers know big brother is watching, you still see larger amounts of corruption coming from the folks that took an oath to upload the constitution. One could only imagine how bad it was prior to dash and body cams.

I still say the ref is a pussy. In the heat of the moment the dad shoved him. He didn't beat his ass. If you're a ref, angry parents and players come with the job. If you can't handle that, then find something else to do. Filing charges is pussy move. He could had talked to the guy later after everyone cooled down. Now he's just a punk.

Two Colorado police officers ass@ult a man just sitting on the ground, get fired and cost tax payers 850,000 in the form of a settlement. Aurora Police officers John Haubert and Francine Martinez initially responded to a call regarding three individuals trespassing on private property near a local business. After running their names, officers discovered outstanding warrants for two of the individuals, who immediately fled the scene on foot. Kyle Vinson remained seated on the ground. Despite Vinson being unarmed, the situation rapidly escalated. Officer Haubert drew his firearm, pushed Vinson to the ground, and pinned him down. Haubert then assaulted vinson. Vinson can be heard repeatedly asking what he did wrong. Officer Martinez stood by during the encounter without intervening just watching the law broken in front of her face. Following an internal review of the bodycam footage, Aurora Police Chief Vanessa Wilson publicly condemned the actions, calling them "criminal" and "not police work." While a formal lawsuit was never filed in court, the City of Aurora bypassed a protracted legal battle by agreeing to a pre-litigation civil settlement, paying Kyle Vinson $850,000. While the civil side was settled out of court, the criminal proceedings against the officers drew intense public scrutiny: Officer John Haubert: Charged with multiple felonies—including second-degree assault and felony menacing—Haubert resigned from the department. However, during his criminal trial, a jury ultimately acquitted him of all charges. His defense successfully argued that Vinson had reached for the officer's weapon during the struggle, introducing enough doubt for a not-guilty verdict. Officer Francine Martinez: In a contrasting outcome, Haubert's partner was successfully convicted by a jury for failing to intervene under a strict Colorado police accountability law passed in 2020. She was sentenced to community service and probation. Two tier justice strikes again! Community service for the two criminal officers, and the citizens pay the bill.

Even with all our technology watching the moves of our public officials, we still have some that push things to the limits of corruption and beyond. We have some of those to share coming your way soon.
