Why do Amercians love British / European accents so much? 🇺🇸
I was in a bar tonight and every time I spoke a person turned their head and was like omg are you British? I get we sound different but you guys sound way better than we do
The next two days in Boston will be super exciting. Not only are we going to the Germany match on the 29th, but we’re also going to a wrestling show tomorrow. We’re attending @ThisIsTNA Slammiversary and we might even get the chance to meet Jeff and Matt Hardy. This will be fun!
@shaunvlog_ New York always has the best fireworks display, as well as the best backdrop with the Skyline.
The best locations to view them will be Broooklyn Bridge Park in Brooklyn and Liberty State Park in Jersey City.
Let’s talk 4th of July 👀🇺🇸 I am booked on a flight home today but how could I miss the 4th during the 250 year celebrations. So if I came back, where would I go?
@elsathora Walk through Southern half of Central Park (The Mall, The Pond, The Bow Bridge, The Lake, Bethesda Terrace) and go to the Museum of Natural History the same day (the museum is right across from the park).
If you go to an observation deck, make sure it's Rockefeller Center
Currently driving through Vermont. It’s hard to believe that this and Texas, where we were last week, are the same country. It’s like a different world here.
@groundhopper_fc Depends on where the best view for the fireworks are. If they're only in the Hudson River, then Hoboken and Jersey City are the best spots. If the fireworks will be in the harbor or East River, the Brooklyn Bridge Park or Battery Park might be best
Btw.. I heard July 4th is big here so I kinda already feeling myself I have to get back to New York area for that…
Any recommendations of where to stay best??
After a long day of driving we’ve finally had the time to explore a bit and it was WORTH it. This is somewhere in the Watkins Glen State Park in New York.
For a moment I felt like I was deep in the jungle searching for an ancient lost city.
@clarkh1963@FreddyLA7 Overall slightly less than the average American because of a slightly higher infant mortality, but Amish that reach adulthood live longer than the average American because they're more physically active and have a healthier diet.
We just saw our first Amish people!!!! They were coming toward us in a horse-drawn buggy. Such a cool moment. I don’t want to record them without their permission, so you’ll have to trust me on this one.
This is usually the part where I leave a city, thank the people, and look forward to the next stop.
Not in Boston.
This time, the only person getting a thank you is the bus driver for getting me out of here. 😂
Roll on New York. Plenty planned and I can’t wait. 🇺🇸 🚍
I just booked my first Amtrak journey from Washington DC to NYC in July!
As a German who’s used to taking trains across the country I’m so excited to finally try out the inter-city train system in the United States 🇺🇸🚅
Super interesting morning in Amish Country, Ohio. The supermarket even has dedicated parking spaces for buggies, and there’s a lot of German around here. Also, so many people here ride bicycles, something I’ve hardly seen anywhere else so far. Now we’re off to Pennsylvania!
@JacobTooCold 1) No, they're raising kids and providing for them.
2) Fertility rates across the entire world have dropped off a cliff, and their willingness to have large families stands in contrast to that.
Driving through Ohio. Towns like this are why we’re trying to avoid the interstates and take the slower roads instead. These are the kinds of places we want to see. This feels like peak America.🇺🇸
@katesbooksnooks Where in Ohio/Pennslyvania would you recommend visiting an Amish community? Also, is there anything we should keep in mind when visiting? We’d like to be respectful and not disturb anyone.
@Lions Thanks for the super nice video. We couldn’t fit in a stop to Detroit unfortunately because of time issues, we would’ve loved to visit the stadium.
