I think there are a range of possibilities. I'm not fundamentally anti-technology. I've already seen what Palantir has done for companies in the private sector. If they can help with government agencies in the same way, it's a win imo. I don't fear this shit. The world changes. Technologies come and go. The anti-Palantir thing is part political and part luddite techno-fear. Best wishes to you and yours.

@MattATX81 @_whitneywebb Wish I could say the same thing about yours. Do you really think any of this is truly a step forward for the human race?

Palantir, a CIA front company, now has its tentacles in the food supply, our healthcare data, our growing autonomous weapons industry, the military, the entire US intelligence community, border patrol, Space Force and so on. Seemingly, Palantir is soon to become the testrun for Yarvins "sov-corp", a privatized version of govt that replaces the existing govt and is ruled by a CEO dictator. That is, unless we do something about it. cnbc.com/2026/04/22/pal…

Can you live debate @_whitneywebb ? She is persistently anti-Palantir and constantly posts about Palantir being some evil organization. "Everyone associated with Palantir is bad." "Palantir is a CIA front." "Palantir is the architecture to enslave humanity." "Palantir is extortion software." "Palantir builds compromising dossiers on everyone." "Palantir is Epstein derivative." On and on and on. She has a loud voice. I think she needs to be invited to a roundtable discussion or debate so this noise can be put to rest or at least addressed directly.

Thank you @FT for publishing my letter on a common (occasionally wilful) misunderstanding about Palantir software: no UK government data ever leaves the UK. Ever.

@EDSecMcMahon And we're all on the hook for these predatory loans plus interest. Sold us dreams of a future that doesn't exist and now we are indebted for life. Thanks a lot.

I'm familiar. That summary misinterprets the principle. "Among competing hypotheses or explanations that equally account for the observed facts, the simplest one—requiring the fewest assumptions or entities—should be preferred." Requiring the fewest assumptions and equally accounting for observed facts does not equate to accepting the most basic explanation riddled with assumptions simply because alternative explanations are complicated.

@AlexanderSoros If you are against the ruling, I am assuming it was the best possible ruling, and I am grateful for it.

Today’s ruling in Louisiana v. Callais has gutted a key part of the Voting Rights Act and erased decades of protection. Roe showed us what happens when our rights rest on judicial goodwill. We can't allow voting rights to suffer on the same foundation. The answer isn’t a “better” Court. It's codifying real voting protections via the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. Call your senators. Demand a vote. And show up every November like the maps depend on it.

@TierOnePoster @_whitneywebb And I said "mostly" effective. You're using the example to support a narrative that Palantir is some uniquely evil company who saw a girls school with a bunch of kids and said "blow it up". That's not what happened. Anthropic provided bad data is what happened.

That tragedy was a horrible mistake based on bad out-dated data from what I understand, but that does not excuse it. That being said, the Maven Smart System is designed specifically to minimize civilian casualties and it has been mostly effective in Iran. I am not advocating for the war or anything like that, but compare Iran to Iraq. Maven provides intel for precision targeting of high value targets as opposed to carpet bombing a whole village to kill one target.

@TonySeruga More anti-Peter Thiel garbage. You have this completely wrong. He is NOT calling for a one-world totalitarian state. He is warning against it saying that is the greatest threat to humanity.

🇺🇸 Palantir’s Peter Thiel malfunctions when asked if humanity should survive. In the exchange (around the 45-46 minute mark in the full episode), while discussing transhumanism, AI, stagnation, and whether humanity should "evolve" radically via technology: Douthat: “I think you would prefer the human race to endure, right?” Thiel: “Uh——” (long pause) Douthat: “You’re hesitating.” Thiel: “Well, I don’t know. I would — I would——” Douthat: “This is a long hesitation!” Douthat: “Should the human race survive?” Thiel: “Yes.” Thiel (continuing): “But I also would like us to radically solve these problems...” (emphasizing transformation, overcoming death, etc., rather than humanity in its current form enduring unchanged). In the second video, Peter Thiel who is always obsessed with the Anti Christ, says "We will avoid Armageddon by having a one world state that has real teeth and real power". Peter Thiel is openly calling for a One World State! ☠️👿

🚨 WE'VE BEEN WARNED: AI Is Now Self-Building – The Curtain Rises on Humanity's New Atomic Age History doesn’t whisper warnings. It thunders them. Fire. Steel. The atom. Each time humanity loosed exponential power, we stood at the precipice—Prometheus unbound, Oppenheimer awed. Today, Axios rips back the curtain ('Behind the Curtain: We’ve Been Warned,' April 29, 2026) and the thunder is unmistakable: silicon has begun dreaming itself awake. In the last 60 days alone: - Generative AI is the fastest-growing product category in world history. - Anthropic’s frontier model—Claude Mythos Preview—is so potent it cracks critical zero-days across every major OS and browser. Too dangerous for public release. The company self-restricted it to ~40 cyberdefenders (Project Glasswing). No regulator forced their hand. - The most powerful coding models from OpenAI and Anthropic are now building themselves. Inside Anthropic: “pretty much 100%” of code is AI-generated. Official line: “We build Claude with Claude.” OpenAI’s chief scientist eyes fully autonomous AI researchers by 2028. Anthropic’s co-founder calls recursive self-improvement (2027–2030) “the ultimate risk.” - As capability explodes, transparency collapses. Stanford’s Foundation Model Transparency Index cratered from 58 to 40/100. The most capable models are now the least transparent—and Washington requires zero disclosure. - Resentment has turned violent: firebombing and gunfire at Sam Altman’s home, manifesto in hand targeting AI leaders. - Havoc is no longer theoretical. AI agents just erased $2 trillion from public software companies in 10 weeks—more relative damage than the dot-com bust or 2008—by obsoleting coding, legal research, real estate, and financial management. Anthropic’s annualized revenue? $1 Billion → $9 Billion → $30 Billion. Fastest growth in American business history. Sam Altman, hours after the attacks: “The fear and anxiety about AI is justified… Power cannot be too concentrated… We are in the process of witnessing the largest change to society in a long time, and perhaps ever.” Morgan Stanley, Stanford AI Index 2026, and the International AI Safety Report all echo the same verdict: 2026 is the breakthrough year. Velocity outruns our guardrails, our institutions, our understanding. This is not hype. This is empirical reality screaming from the data, the code, and the very people forging it. The curtain is open. The new Atomic Age has begun. Will we democratize this power, govern it wisely, and prepare every worker and institution—or sleepwalk into the unknown while the machines write their own future? The builders have warned us. History is watching. What will we do?" #WeveBeenWarned #AIAtomicAge #SelfImprovingAI #BehindTheCurtain #ExponentialIntelligence #ClaudeMythos #TechReckoning #AIPower #SiliconSingularity #WakeUpToAI
