@KenCarman @PhenoMVP @RickOutkalt He was a big prospect for sure, and I was there for those things too. But Chisenhall was only ever projected (even at the time) to be an above average bat first corner guy and all the publications were pretty much in lockstep on that.

DeLauter has been ranked in the 40-60 range on most prospect lists the last few years, but that was 100% solely because of the injury concerns. This is a Roman Anthony/Konnor Griffin type of talent that we get to watch in a Guardians uniform for the foreseeable future.

There's a lot of really interesting things to find in a game that you can do research on. If you want to break into the field, do research on something that makes you curious. We don't need more stuff+ metrics, or player cards, we need answers to other questions.

I think everyone should let themselves be insanely excited about Chase DeLauter. barrels anything in his swing path. exit velocity is absurd. best prospect they’ve had in a very, very long time

@PhenoMVP Oh by the way, he's running a 95% zCon this spring too. Jose/Kwan level bat to ball with elite exit velos and excellent swing decisions. His floor is higher than half the ceilings of guys in last year's lineup
